@mooncrest8000 It tells you in the sixth movie, the letter that she reads in the desk was from Hoffman, it says if she doesn't kill Lynn he will tell John that his lover's miscarriage was her fault. She was with the addict who slammed the door on her stomach, causing the baby to die.
@mooncrest8000 no, she saw john talking to lynn because he was talking to lynn as if she was his wife, and amanda trap around lynns neck isnt able to be taken off, none of her traps are, so she wouldnve died anyway
This is so perfect. I love Shawnee and Amanda so much that now whenever I watch Saw III (all the time) I skip to all the Amanda parts. Now I can just watch this :)
what's admirable with shawnee smith is that she drew my attention by her great talent first... only then of course i found her incredibly beautiful xD but i think the one who touched me the most is her caracter amanda (and the way shawnee plays is amazing). I hate so much the moment she gets shot in saw3, i actually have a hard time to watch it xD
I agree with you in 100%! For me SAW III is the best and it's because of Amanda in it. The whole movie is greatly written but Shawnee portraiting Amanda is simply gorgeous. I wish she didn't die at the end of the movie.... :-( It would be awesome to see her alive in folloving movies making traps with Jigsaw...
I fell in love with Amanda in this one, she's the only character that I care about.. The rest are emo, self-obsessed morons. I thought this film was harsh on her. Haven't seen past SAW III though. Plus, Shawnee's body is amazing in this.

First off it's a movie^^
If I'm not wrong it was planned to stop after the 3rd.
This movie would works as ending if you think about it.
There is a cliffhanger, but so many movies have it and never see a sequal.

4-6 somewhat created the story around 1-3.It was clear that they do another 3 Movies so they could make more use of cross movie story.
If you seen 5 or 6 without knowing the rest you would actually be pretty confused^^
