@apologeticsman To further complicate matters, this show was performed in an airconditioned building, but the only place to tune was outside in hot temperatures and high humidity. It did not take long to go out of tune inside. This number was shortly before intermission, so it had been a long time since tuning. Sorry. Tiny venues, gotta luv 'em!
i thot that , i can normaly tell by the sound of the drums and pipes if its a scottish band or an american beand etc
by te way you guys sound not bad
the only critisism i can say is about the dancers , some of thier moves arent highland dancing moves , plz dont take any offence i just thought some of it looked a bit weird , i showed this to my mm ( hoo is a highland dancing teacher) the dancers and she said some of the moves weremt highland dancing ones but all in all it was a pretty good vid
I think our dancers were taking choreographic liberties to dance with these tunes rather than trying to make a particular highland dance fit to them. We had fun though! And that's what we're about.
one set of pipes is hard to tune, 12 or so, nearly impossible, as is shown here

@rikelprice It's obvious they're taking liberties
but with taste and VERY enjoyable
Thanks

@LesliePiper I am sure that HeatherSkelter22 and the other dancers are glad you enjoyed it! My eldest son was one of the pipers.

@rikelprice
And a fine piper he must be, they don't only sound good but seem to really enjoy it. something missing in many of the top grade bands.
BTW any chance of getting a copy of "Mozart...."
Thanks

@johno100100 Yes it was a choreography, that's why. I'm one of the dancers.
