  • Thank you so much for posting this!!

  • And finally. This question. The mystery of whose story it will be, of who draws the curtain. Who is it that chooses our steps in a dance? Who drives us mad, flashes us with whips, crowns us with victory when we survive the impossible? Who is it that tells all these things?

  • does lobotomy hurt on the eye when its stung by a nail/spike/needle?

  • @amalfi5000 Actually, it doesn't, it doesn't even hit the eye. Actually, lobotomy really hits the little hole between the nose and the eye. the ice pick then is rammed into the more open area of the brain where they then "jiggle" the pick and detatch the frontal lobes with our front part of the brain. People who really have lobotomies actually have huge black eyes because of the impact around the eye muscles. I am anti-lobotomy. can you believe people lined up in the thousands for 1?

  • i love this whole movie but the very beginning and end when sweet pea talks ties this whole movie up in a nicwe bow and delivers anyone else agree?

  • I already love this movie and I've seen nothing but clips on youtube!

  • If I had written this movie, right after this scene, it would have shown the real Babydoll waking up from a deep therapy session in the real world. This way they could have explained that all the women of her team were aspects of her inner personality operating in a Heroic world and a Darker world. In the least of which, it could have explained how a girl in the '60s(Babydoll)imagination would be filled with imagery from a modern fanboy's world(Goth-Anime cyber and steampunk)like Zach Snyder.

  • Gosh! This movie was pretty good.

    Unexpected I must say 2.

    But enjoyed it overall. =)

  • My new favorite movie

  • @Geothovan I've seen this movie heaps and I never thought about it like that, makes sense that baby is sweat peas angel...

  • I love this film

  • seriosly i just can't stop watching this...its so moving and right at the end when she says 'it's you' i dunno...somthing moves inside me, tingles up my back...just beautiful and totally the meaning of life <3

  • @FullofLorna I totally agree... I've been looking for this in a long time because it was so touching and made me think about my life..! (And btw sorry if there is anything there is spelt wrong, i'm a dane:)

  • Supposedly, this movie is about the torture and suffering "mind-control" victims go through. There is a whole article about it on Vigilant Citizen's website...

  • i always get chills when i hear this.... i love this movie so much <3

  • i never know what to do when i watch this...cry with saddness or with joy? be happy or sad

i think thats why these words are so epic :P

  • @FullofLorna i smile (:

  • wow, this movie really did change how i saw things and about life. only u can decide whats best 4 u, u DO have all the weapons u need, ....go on out there, and fight for what u wish to survive and live for....

  • I don't know why, but the "You have all the wepons you need, no FIGHT!" Stuck with me, I can't get it out of my head! It's like, there's a messege in there, spacicly foe me. Am I the only one who feels like that? I don't know why! It's so odd....

  • :D

  • Pure inspiratie, deze laatste zinnen.

Laat ik hopen dat veel mensen hier hun ellende achter hun kunnen laten en dat er licht is aan het einde van een donkere tunnel

  • I loved this ending line it made me think that you yourself make your decisions that you decide what to make of yourself. this movie kind of made me think of rebellion, will power, choices, and maybe even totalitarianism. I started crying from this

  • has anyone else noticed abbie cornish looks like a tan blonde nicole kidman?

  • @vrljo92 It's just my opinion, but I think he might be God. He obviously an independent actor within the film and can move between reality and the dream world that exists while Babydoll dances. That's the only explanation I can think of that makes sense, at least to me.

Plus the whole, "who sends monsters to kill us and sings that we will never die" thing pretty much describes my relationship with God for most of my life.

  • @Halo4Lyf Sorry but, the guy in the film is not God, he's just a figment of sweet pea's imagination (or perhaps her therapist?). As for "who sends monsters to kill us & @ the same time sings that we'll never die?" That's us, we do that to ourselves all the time. I'm not saying God isn't real but i think you need to look a little deeper, after all, he is the Alpha & the Omega, right?

  • @MikeSutcliffe07 That doesn't make any sense. How could the Wise Man be a figment of Sweat Pea's imagination if he's appeared in scenes where only Babydoll is present? Unless you're implying that Babydoll is also a figment of Sweat Pea's imagination, which is a theory I've also heard.

  • @Halo4Lyf Spot on my mate, Baby even tells sweet pea at the end "this was never my story, it's yours"

  • @Halo4Lyf I think the real point is that he was supposed to be a guardian angel. Sweepea's narration in the beginning of the movie mentioned angels and also an old man just my theory. they were all girls in the institution, but they also all knew they had a choice and wanted to take it. They felt they made themselves mad, they could make themselves normal. This movie has some religious aspects, talking about Philosophy and such, but there is no "this way!" or "not that way!" going on.

  • @Halo4Lyf MikeSutcliffe is right. it's about mind control, no part not even a tiny microscopic detail is about religion. but it's made to be confusing and be taken more than one way

  • @vrljo92 GAY. he's tha guardian angel!

  • Oh my gosh , you guys have no idea how this movie has inspired and helped me ; I can relate to it . I know , i'm not in a mental hospital or whatever but , fight with your mind , constantly in a war . But this movie has shown me I can't give up and I have to keep fighting and that soon , it'll be over and I'll be happy again . I know it's stupid from a si - fi but , this movie has really touched me .

  • @Pamelasingsalot No, it's not stupid at all.. I'm glad it gave you inspiration to keep going :D .. this movie is great

  • @vrljo92 I don't really understand what they did to Babydoll. And what is a Lobotomize?

  • @Vampirelove48 a the pierce the part of the brain that control speech and memory right behind the iris of the eye...other words the step father wanted her to have no memeory of why she was there and also so that she couldnt tell anybody about him cause she and her sister were to inherit their mothers wealth that the step father was greedy for

  • @Vampirelove48 Lobotomy was a popular surgery during the fourties and fifties for housewives who were depressed, even children with symptoms of what we now would see as hypertension disorder. Lobotomy is where an needle is jamed in the tiny hole between our eye and our nose. they then use the needle to diconnect parts of our brain and frontal lobes, leaving us disoriented with symptoms resembling a "High". It was like a reset button. however, normal patients would have black eyes.

  • @kapuppygrl224 Why black eyes. And did they numb them first or did they just go a head and did it?

  • @Vampirelove48 Black eyes due to the amount of blood the pick ends up moving from detatching the lobes, it rushes toward the eyes and causes black eyes, only they aren't puffy, just darkened by the blood rushing to it. And in fact the patients were in fact unconcious when this procedure happened, they used Shock Therapy methods and jolted them with electricity so they would fall unconcious, then they continued on with the procedure. I am anti-lobotomy.....

  • @Pamelasingsalot i agree

  • @Pamelasingsalot you keep fighting. i know you can set yourself free from whatever it is that your fighting for. you are strong

  • @Pamelasingsalot It's not stupid at all. I can definitly relate to the begining though. My life has been very hard in many ways. So yes, this is my most fav and inspiring movie. Im glad to see im not the only one :) :....:

  • @Pamelasingsalot - I totally agree- this ending is awesome :) very inspiring film!

  • @Pamelasingsalot i agree. I remember leaving the theater with my head held high. All my life I have suffered with self confidence. Accepting myself in the presence of others & believing in myself when faced with fears. It's because of these inspiring words from Sweat Pea i walk with with more confidence knowing I'm not alone. I'm armed. :>

  • @Pamelasingsalot i know exactly what you mean, this movie changed my mind ,and my life

  • @Pamelasingsalot you are very pretentious to think you are entitled to happiness.

  • @Pamelasingsalot It's not stupid, I'm the same way♥

  • @Pamelasingsalot thats very inspireing your not alone i wish you happiness in your life

  • lls i just wanna know who the random wise old dude was that was helping them thru the movie lol :)

  • @darius7883 he was there angel.

  • @Mastermiine no... baby was her angel

  • "Who decides why we live, and what we'll die to defend."

  • @chrispen9 I respect your opinion, but i can't find anything funny about this.. She speaks about meaning of life, at least that's what i think when i watch this...

  • @chrispen9 so a whole cinema was filled up with stupid pawns? wow..i ever wonder, why some people go into a Movie..they laugh at the scence where normal people thinking or crying, they dont laugh wenn the joke requieres some mind but they finaly laugh when a guy hurts himselfs or something...pitiful...but its ok..so the producers earn more money and so they could make more movies instead..thanks to u all, without the ability to feel and understand, mindless pawns...thx,realy :)

  • @fxhmeltdown You're right :D

  • @fxhmeltdown Unless English is your second language, you aren't in a position to call other people stupid. You failed to use the appropriate punctuation and grammar. A young child of the age of 10 could most likely spell at a higher level than you.

You also sound like the kind of person that feels superior when they think they understand something that they think has a deep meaning. That makes you a bit of a hipster and a bit of an arsehole. Those two things are one and the same I guess.

  • @chrispen9 This quote tells of the age old question. It practically redfines religion and all you can do is laugh? You are the type of people leading this world into our future? We're DOOMED. Unless of course: people actually begin to think. You won't beleive how simple it sounds, but all you really had to do with this quote was to think. But then again, your head must be so thick you don't know the true definition of the word in the first place. Well done, our future is doom. thank u

  • This isnt my favorite part if the movie but i love it when she says

"You have all the weapons you need, Now FIGHT!"

  • @stevenxx8 i know :D i get goose bumps every time i watch it....

  • i love how right after that the end credits started.

  • This was the best part of the movie.

  • @cptIdiot yeah, it makes you think :)
