A nozzle will give better thrust performance, but nozzle flow theory is a nightmare, (final year project at Uni on a thermal rocket engine), I know. You can experiment looking for no outward expansion of the exhaust gas. Look at footage of a NASA rocket and you'll see the initial exhaust is straight and then into flight the exhaust gas expands outwards: It's a compromise for best performance.

A hybrid rocket engine is pretty much a gaseous oxidizer with a solid fuel. N2O is mainly used as the gaseous oxidizer and the solid fuel can be many things, from wax to salami.

@ZachJ1996 its a hybrid since it has oxygen supplied, a normal rocket is solid state, meaning you light it and it goes, a hybrid is a combo of a jet and a rocket, it combines regular rocket fuel with an oxygen supply which makes it way better with much more thrust. making one is pretty dangerous so im not going to reveal how i do it
