wouldnt it be awesome if there was a massive campaign to rally a load of would-be comic writers and get their stories and stuff published if theyre good enough?
The Walking Dead has everything i want when it comes to my obsession with zombies. The horror, epic survival adventure. EXACTLY my taste. Thank you kirkman.
i used to read IGN's comic reviews, but they've become painfully bad. They've already review'd Haunt 1 with an abismal score, and it's not even on the front page. Very tasteless of them.
Robert Kirkman`s spin on the comic book style of story-telling and character growth is, amazing as well as in terms of a strong inspiration! His really polished-cheerful attitude is quite meaningful to his devotion to comics which is great to posses!
He has such a good attitude. I mean, he started oas a no-name writer with a sardonic sense of humor who simply got into the business because he liked comics.
Now, he's arguably one of the most successful writers in the business and he is still the same guy. That's both astounding and inspiring to see.
I can't handel reading an issue of the walking dead, I need the trades. Issues are just too short for me, and if I were to read them, I would go insane waiting for the next to come out. The writing is just so good, and the artwork is great with it's grit and realism. I like how it moves slow, and has those little moments of character development. It's like a movie, but better, because it never ends! I'm still waiting for Rick's eventual death though. I know it's going to happen.
wow... i keep liking Kirkman more and more. I've been away from comics for years... and Kirkman's the best thing that's emerged since I've been gone. I'd love to sit down and have a beer with that dude, he looks like an awesome guy.
And that makes you sooo cool! I'm a Kirkman fan, I collect TWD, Invincible and AWM but I'm not going to stop reading other good comics just because they have a Marvel or DC stamp on it. You sound just as bad as those morons who are proud of reading nothing but manga but don't read anything that doesn't have a series on cartoon network.
Lets put it this way, I've had my fill of super hero books. Now, with the exception of Invincible, I'd like to read comics that have "Variety", something that doesn't revolve around the spandex universe which marvel and DC only produce.

A little too laid back. Comes across as an ass to me. Too bad. I still love his work.
