lol, anybody that hates PC, doesn't have a valid reason, first of all, if they think graphics on a console are better they are wrong, so that's not a reason, and if they like using a controller, rather than a keyboard and mouse, also not a valid reason, as you can hook up a 360 controller to a PC, the only thing I can think of would be the price of a PC, BUT, you can build a wicked PC for $1000, No joke, keep in mind PS3 was like $1500 at one point, and u can do way more with a PC :-)

good luck with that oh and if u want i could give u some advice with some games : timeshift is pretty awsome and if u like superhero games u could buy Spiderman web of shadows..its grate fun and its long too cuz u can be good or bad and that makes u finish the game double ! gta 4 is cool i finished it 4 times cuz i had to do those kill or killnot things a week of gameplay:GTA 4 oh and FEAR 2 is awsome hope i wasnt such a waste of time cya

ive spent quite a bit actually ... over $1800 easy ... but that's over quite a bit of time. I originally spent around $600 and have upgraded here and there to the beast that it is now. :)

to be honest, i'm loving the quad core not only for gaming, but just for everything all together. Games are starting to support quad core more and more and it seems as though there is no stopping the speed as long as you match your quad with a good amount of FAST RAM and a decent motherboard. I've made the switch to quad from dual and I can say that just in a general computing sense, it's better. Things load faster ... it's just nicer overall rather than a huge FPS gain. :)

Whoa, I have nearly the same PC. My Mobo is the M3N-HT which was the (first?) 780a chipset from ASUS before the Crosshair II. I also only have a single 9800GTX+, but soon to get another for SLi, and only a 22".

i've played eve ... i started playing it around the time it first came out and had no idea what to do. it was tough to get into but a lot of people i knew loved it. I never ended up sticking with it, but from what I heard it was a lot of grinding and wasn't all that action packed. I stuck with WoW. ;)

you seam to have no knowledge(or didnt displayed knowing of it) of how the expansion system works for eve if you had played it you should know how it works.

action isnt an issue anymore. grinding still there but not there , its what you choose to do that makes it a grid session or not

Loving your enthusiasm dude!! Must be said I`m loosing the will to live with PC games, (never thought I`d hear myself say that) I`ve got a relatively kick ass gaming rig, but still can`t run Mass Effect months after release due to bugs and freezing, please sort Bioware!!! And I`m holding Empire total war in my hands but again I cant install because of traffic on the steam server. Consoles may be a dirty word, but at least I can play a game when I want to. :-(

I'll admit, sometimes it's tough. It was pretty sorry that I had to resort to WoW to keep myself from turning to consoles as an alternative. But I resisted, and survived. One thing I don't understand is how Mass Effect didn't work for you. I played through several times without a hitch. Weird ... :( sorry to hear you had problems. Lol , No worries mate, I played the demo over Steam and it kicks ass,my special forces edition of Total War has just installed so the wife won`t get any sense out of me for months to come. She is definitely a gaming widow!!!!!!!!
