That was mind blowing. My search in You Tube was Perpetuum Mobile. Im a huge Penguin Orchestra Fan. I just wanted the music but the video was...hell woman, you know your stuff. I visited the Orsay last summer and got to the Tate aswell. Im no art critic but you just showed a compilation of some of my favourite pieces of art. One notable absentee in my book was a fellow paddy potato eater Francis Bacon. Im inrigued by Banksy aswell but hope (for all our sakes) he remains anonymous.
also not a huge art fan here but that was really good. having said that banksy has been my favourite artist for a while. thanks again...whats the name of this music? ive herd it about a billion times and have never botherd to find out what its called or who its buy
Beautiful video production and you have great tastes in art. From my office in Chicago I can see parts of both the Calder and Picasso sculptures that are in the video..
Wow you have done a lot of traveling. I love going to museums. You never know what you will find and there is always something for everyone. I recognized just a few pieces. I think I need to get out more.
OK, my obligatory wait to get thru my YT comment limit is over! This is great & I posted my first attempt at showcasing fine art,& literature! I am not happy with it & plan to redo! Any comments would be appreciated!
Awesome and you've been to many museums. My best friend would love you. I personally love Vermeer,I think he was a divine artist...Thank you for sharing.
Fantastic. the art, the artists and the music helped to soothe my flu (boo) soul. This was so beautiful. Keep them coming. There were quite a few of my faves on there too. You go girl! :)
It's good to know others who know and can appreciate artists that are sometimes unnoticed or forgetten by alot of us. You are right when you beautifully stated that art makes this world a better place. Thanks for sharing, appreciating, and mentioning them.
I must admit i'm not a great modern art lover, but there were some really interesting pieces in there. I might have to re-evaulate & explore a bit more.
Thank you for taking the time to make this, I'm not one who enjoys going to a museum and looking at art. These 3 or 4 minute tours are perfect for me,
Yes! This is great! I often feel that 20th century art won't be appreciated until the artists are all dead, but this is really an enlightening and important video.

It is the Penguin Cafe Orchestra and the piece is called Perpetuum Mobile. Oh and thanks.

sounds fully orchestrated - was it part of the orchestrations Jeffe did for the ballet suite - "Still Life at the Penguin Cafe"?

I was recommended this by the hornboy... and as a son of two artists I connect with this instantly. Nicely put together, thankyou.

My mom used to have one of Warhol's brillo pad boxes. It was a gift from one of her co-workers. I was so mad when she sold it.
