i understand your reason behind using % of max weight but as we are viewing, we would like to know how much weight ! It may not be important to you ,but it is to us !! great squatting tho !!
The weight used is insignificant. The progress is what matters. If you really want to know what weight it is. Take the 1RM in the lift in question and then calculate the percentage that I have given. I am much more interested in getting feedback on the technical issues, than getting feedback because the lift it self is heavy. :) This channel is first of all a place where I collect my videos and see my progress. :)
LOL, i aint that bothered mate , i was just saying what everyone else is thinking !! might aswell not bother upoloading them and just look at them on your harddrive
I know you are not that bothered. :) Well, I upload whatever I want. :) Then people can watch it or not. :) Yes, I have much more films on my harddrive. I film every set I do. But I obviously do not upload all of my sets. I also watch every set on video in the instant it is finished to check the technique. Technique can never be good enough. Also interesting to see the bar speed etc. etc.. :)
It's funny you know. I never changed my grip, I just change my grip for different training cycles. Sometimes also in the same workout. The squat can be performed in hundreds of different variations if you consider the stance, the groove, the grip, the breathing etc etc.. Of course this close grip makes for more controll and a tighter upper body, and is thus advantageous when lifting big weights. :) I always did it like this for very heavy lifts. :)
Yes, sometimes I do ultra low box squats with a pause, and sometimes I do overheadsquats as well. Have not done these in a long time, but will try again when I get to my university gym! And of course some other variations as well!
It is more of a reminder for myself. Being able to perform decent on a sub-optimal day is a important skill. The good days will then become even better!

The current 1RMs are listed in my channel's descriptive text. I am not going to write how much weight I use for my lifts. :)
