@SeCONdagenda1 Of course. My opinion on a rather subjective topic differs from yours, therefore I "wouldn't comprehend simple education". If it makes you feel better, you just keep telling yourself that.
@Hesusio Your comparing the MOTHER-FUCKING-BEATLES to HALO. Can you not see the illogic here? it's not "rather subjective" it's common taste. Although I would say "for what they are" there was a lot more 60's music that's just as incomparable.
@SeCONdagenda1 I find them both to me quite mediocre and horribly over hyped. Unless you can find something objectively wrong with that statement (no, "common taste" is not a valid answer), then I can't help but conclude that my comparison is apt.
@SeCONdagenda1 I think you're missing the point. I'm not saying I have a problem with Beatles fans, just that I think they're overrated. I know it's a subtle difference, but still worth noting all the same.
@Hesusio There are plenty of ways of having an opinion and remaining objective. The Beatles are perhaps the single most influential musical group of their generation. They showed a stronger evolution in their music than any band I can think of. Subjectively, you can simply not like their music. To call them "overhyped" or "overrated" in such a declarative manner is ignorant of the necessity to realize what they did for music. It's very dim to judge anything without understanding it.
@Hesusio "Revolution 9" was just an example of John Lennon's experimental phase, which was undeniably hit-or-miss. A good example of his experimentation working well would be something like the outro to "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". The White Album is full of weird shit and is fairly disjointed, but it's probably the best example of each member's evolution (save for Ringo, the twat). "Revolution 9" is only a speck of excrement on their shining second half.
@Hesusio I'd also advise that you at least try delving into their discography a bit to better understand the evolution I'm talking about, to receive a better understanding of why they were so "overhyped", and to trace their beginnings as a truly mediocre, unremarkable boy band with some catchy, forgettable songs, to the eclectic, genre bending, quirky band they became. The Beatles was the band that taught me to never judge a body of work by the few passing examples that often come up.
Yahtzee was a bit slow to the punch when he talked about keyboard sections being passed of as guitar segments in GH. GH3's Through the Fire and Flames has you playing the keyboard section in the opening insanity. The actual guitar part for that bit of the song is the power chords you hear in the background.
@SandvichPlox Help and Let It Be are NOT in the game. And since DLC is completely discontinued in Beatles Rock Band, all we can hope for is Harmonix being nice and adding them to REGULAR Rock Band DLC.
This game is exactly what it's like to make music. Once you've had a stroke and start trying to play the broom in the corner.

I'm not joking. In one of our high school plays, we used segments of that track.

Meh, Beatles are ok for what they are, but extremely over hyped. They're like the Halo of 60's music.

@Hesusio I shouldn't even make a comment on this, you wouldn't comprehend simple education, or halo for that matter.

@BareBandSubscription I don't know, some of their later stuff was truly awful. Revolution 9 for example. What the fuck were they thinking?
