@pegleg1992 What engine does the current elise use then ? Duh, the exos is a (near) F1 car. I ment a lotus you and I might consider to buy, you know....
@GTtuner56 The Exos is manufactured currently so is a perfectly viable example.
The Lotus Elise is a British car, therefore my example is made upon the specification of the original British version, which is powered by a 1.8l Rover K series inline 4.
@pegleg1992 You're right about that! I was basing myself on Canadian specs (which doesn't has many models as the british spec and uses only Toyota powerplant). So... nevermind my 1st comment lol
@pegleg1992 The elise in britain hasn't has a rover engine in since 2006. and from then they have only used toyota engines . prior to 2006 they used a mix of rover and there own
To be honest, the Mini in front of it sounded better IMO.

VolkswagOwned 7 months ago
@VolkswagOwned Not all of the engines used by Lotus are from Toyota.

@pegleg1992 Name a Lotus that is actually manufactured that doesn't use a Toyota engine.

@GTtuner56 And, in Canada, the elise has a 2ZZ-GE with 180hp (or more, in the exige), the engine of a Toyota Celica.
