I know it's in the comments a lot, but you need to know that pure PvP is not a good thing. It should be on specific servers, or in designated areas. However, if it's 24/7, you will get ganked like a BITCH, which really sucks. That's not competition, that's suicide. If you don't know what ganking is, it's where a really high level player kills a low level player just to piss them off, and that's exactly what would happen in a PvP game.

Granted you find these people in PvE games too, but honestly PvP is pure competition. Even against your own faction or what have you in game. PvE has these problems as well, but it's more rampant in PvP games. Ganking being the best example. Killing someone who stands no chance just because. Totally fun.

You cannot "time" an attack like you can with a boss or a mob, you can not anticipate the next move (to a certain extent yeah, ok), and it is a person who is using a computer to defeat you. Of course pvp breeds elitists, put it this way, in PvP, the players are like a football team, when you win, you are superior. PvP has always been a part of gaming, and always will be. How much money can you win playing PvE?

@JuuKun I only like games that have balanced pvp, because this makes it not depend on your gear, but your skill, which is why i am so pumped for guild wars 2, when you go into pvp everyone is max level with all your abilities and have the same gear. Which means that if your getting killed a lot, you just aren't good at the game, which encourages you to look at class guides, so you know a lot more about your class and the game in general so you can get better, and that's amazing design.

ROM really feels just rubbish. clumpsy movement and poor spell animations. pretty horrible UI aswell actually. havent played shaiya so cant really say much there.

allods however looks and feels awesome! its got "cartoony" graphics mixed with very smooth movements and spell animations. very well done game and polished. downside though is low playerbase.

its nice however to see a top f2o MMO list where ROM isnt no.1 because it might have a big playerbase and much content, but no feel at all

@vxDAZZAvx Oh and by the way I quit WOW in August after 6 years. I played Rom and Allods(which admittedly was superior to ROM but it became pay to win) I came close to the max in each. Max in Rift. I hit near Max in Vanguard(many years ago) Max in 9 Dragons. So when I tell you an MMO is garbage I have a huge frame of reference. The Only one that's even sniffing WOW's jock atm is Rift. I'm burnt on MMOs i'm not playing any ATM(can't imagine why! LOL) Wildstar is the next big MMO imo
