@WTFisthat2011 Dude the only good band you mentioned was metallica the others are just cheesy. I am 19. I find the 80's to be cheesy dude. You obviously don't understand the complicated undertones of nu metal. It is metal that bounces like funk and rap. It is way more fun than heavy metal. + It does not try to be hard core it just tries to be real. A Nu metal band will have realistic lyrics that mean something while a old metal band will just have lines that just say i'm invincible

For those who wondering about my gear and set up. I use a Fokus guitar which I think it's a second hand but it has a pair of Washburn humbucker pick up and it sound pretty kick ass for playing metal. For guitar effect, I used a Line6 Pod X3 Live and I believe I used Peavey 5150 and some bass cab in the POD, And for the amp, I used a Marshall MG-10 CD, . The drum part was created on my Yamaha-PSR 3000 synthesizer and it was suck, I just need a beat to jam with the riff.
