It's a sharp car - but I'm thinking that in 2011 Mitsubishi is going to eat Suzuki's lunch. Shoppers interested in any Suzuki (SX-4, Kizashi, SUZ's) are going to find it hard to ignore the Outlander. I love our '08 SX4 enough to have plowed serious money into upgrades....but when I saw that Outlander..... my eyes popped.
@igeekone Currently the dealer network stands at over 300 nationwide and Suzuki is currently expanding the network after having cut loose the dealers that just weren't cutting it. So far just in January they have added 15 new delears. If they keep up at that pace within 1 year they will have added more dealers that they cut and will be well over 400 dealers nationwide which will give them more dealers than some other competing brands.
in my opinion best car out there for the money he doesnt mention all the little luxuries for the money the sls is worth every penny yes you could get a name brand for less but with less also and to get get what the kizashi has it still would be way more thats the difference
@kizashi12 i would say suzuki would be a name brand i wish i would have looked at the kizashi be for i got my 2011 lancer dont get me wrong the lancer is a good car but that looks sexy also lol
@grandma69me I have an SE with awd and love it such a good car. The only weak points are room and brand image. I have 16000mi on it and no problems yet. It's ride is smoother than my 08 Malibu yet far better handling.
@stlchevy95 I just bought A 2011 Kasashi I was kind of wondering why a 20k only had a 2.4 - 4 cyl. But I was pleasently surprised at the power that is has. I have the cvt tranny, It takes awhile to get used to because it doesn't take off as fast as normal transmissions you have to lay into it alittle to build to power, But when it hits this car is fast and as far a passing power this is where the cvt is great I can be going 60 mpg and when I need to pass there is more then enough power.
@Vitaminous There are now cheaper versions of the car in Canada. When the Kizashi was first introduced to Canada, there was only one fully loaded model. Currently, there is now three trim levels in Canada: The S, Sport and SX. The SX being the fully loaded AWD model, while the S is the lowest price followed by the Sport, both front wheel drive. Of course, by cheap I mean the lowest price for a S model is around $25,000. But you still get a lot car and options for the price! It's a great car!
this car's acceleration from stop as a deal breaker for me. Other than that I was close to buying it.

Fair review but if you want a sporty car get the 6 speed manual, you won't be disappointed. A very refined and well-balanced car.

The Kizashi's size is great for city driving ... it looks stylish and sporty ... AWD is perfect for snowy roads.

I've been seeing great things about this car. It blows the dealer network is virtually non-existent.

Pisses me off that you can't get the manual transmission in the top-end model.

At $24k, I'd get a Sonata SE over this. Couldn't say this last year when this came out, but now the Hyundai has this knocked out of the water.

Over 20k and you still get a 4 cyl with little passing power. Give it at least an inline 5.
