It gets frustrating when I try to show someone that I can play Please Be Mine, because I do the cords right, but I'll strum it wrong.

the time between the first two downs is more then the two ups. those are really closee togeher when you play them

For the strumming pattern, I find it sounds alright if you go: down, down, up, *slight pause*, down, down, up, down, up, down. & This repeats for each chord.
