I know this is old, but damn dude.. go to the thrift store and find a big glass jar or use canning jars. Or head to any retail store, get yourself a sun tea jar..

NEVER USE A PLASTIC CONTAINER WITH KOMBUCHA! the acidity of the kombucha will leach plastic into the kombucha AND mother. use clear glass only.
