y on the bk of the U3 case it says core 2 duo 2.8ghz recommeded

i have GTS 250 gpu 1.86ghz core 2 duo the cpu aint amazin the gpu i'd say is pretty good but i can put all settings on max and it doesn't lag a bit

Yes! Deck is included in UT3. Facing Worlds is available too!

I play UT3 alot, because since May the new Patch is outside, it's hell of a fun!

UT is the best game series ever!

yesterday i ran this stress test on counter strike, and some part i saw it lagged a bit, and the results was 58fps or somthing.

If you're actually warping then it's lag. If the game looks choppy then it's a low FPS. It's easy to see a difference.

lol I have the PS3 version of UT3 and I gotta say this version slaughters it. Better sound quality, obviously waaay better graphics, looks a hell more fun than the PS3 version. Probably becuse they coded it poorly though, it's shocking how the PS3 can barely handle UT3 at 30fps.

well with a PC you can have the latest hardware i.e. GPU and CPU. I know PS3's hardware is good but in the world of tech good doesn't doesn't stay good for very long.

I dont even play this game at max on my laptop. its pretty enuf as is. =]

@GhettoNinjah Well, they didn't code it poorly, it's just because PS3 uses integrated sound and graphics, so there really is no graphics card involved. And yes, UT3 looks a hell of alot more fun on the PC because of texture and status updates.

An 8800 is a great investment, very good card even though it's getting old.  If you can afford it the 4850 would be a much better choice though.

i agree ive just got the 8800 and it plays ut just fine bought it off e bay for £46 im always a couple of years behind with my hardware to me the 8800 is a good choice ide rather buy a card 2 years old that was once a top card rather than buy a budget card for same money £46 dont buy much nowdays

get the 8800 if u havent already ive just bought one off e bay and its more than enough to play ut 3 they may be a couple of years old but these cards still play todays games pretty well

There is indeed. It's a campaign mode where you play as Reaper to fight off a Necris invasion. The story's a bit needless in my opinion, but it accomplishes what it sets out to do.
