I used to blow quarters on this game back in the day. I would always play with guy, cuz he was a real good at kicking ass. But, it wasn't til Street Fighter 2 came out that I started getting better at handling on these beat'em up arcade games. Still, used to have a lot of fun at these games, even though I wasted tons of quarters on them:)

Capcom really did have the edge on fighting games in the late 80's and the early 90's. As with Streetfighter 2, this game was absolutely mind blowing when it came out. After wandering arcades playing things like Double Dragon and Gang Wars my jaw dropped when I first saw this in '89. Great stuff!

@fluro2829 hmmmm thats a good as argument. Hey i have a good Idea. Why don't you find yourself a time machine and travel back to the year 1989 when the game was developed and bring this point to the developers that they suck for not making a game that would not have animations that would be up to par with games from 2010. Im sure they would love to here your input.

Sega CD has speaking intro and ending with new scenes and without text and weird remixed music. Put a blind person in front of the arcade and a deaf person in front of the Sega CD and each wouldn't know what the intro was saying because the arcade has no voice and the CD has no text. Try closing your eyes for the arcade intro and muting the sound for the CD intro.
