He was halted before taking Berlin because the U.S. wanted to let Russia take it hoping it would build good relations. America pushed the Germans out of Africa up through Italy because the British couldn't do it by themselves then we stormed France. Get off this computer and read a book.

Are you seriously suggesting the Americans could have landed on all five beaches without the British? The British were given two and the Canadians one, due to the fact they could not. And the USSR played the decisive role in Europe. It would have defeated the Third Reich without the Americans, and certainly without the British. First, without German aggression the Soviets would never have been in a position to take advantage of the situation. Second, the Western Allies had consistently rejected chances to stop the Reich by military force prior to 1939, and had snubbed the USSR's offers to keep its side of the bargin over Czechoslovakia which in turn shaped Soviet policy - the desire to get what it could and give itself a buffer and time to rearm. Besides, the West could not afford a war with the USSR in 1939.
