What would recommend for a Cx4 storm Beretta ? It's a carbine that uses 9mm pistol bullets and is pretty accurate up to about 100 yards. I'm a decent shot and 100 years isn't that far so I was thinking something with no zoom, like a reflex or a holographic. Got any thoughts on this ?
@gabbot98 I would recommend a scope. A red dot is better for a shotgun and an assault rifle where you are using close range and not pin point accuracy. A red dot needs an identical point of anchor every time, where a scope will be out of focus.
I'm looking at the NC star P4 and the Vortex strike fire red dot.. I would like to get one optic that would cover range shooting at max 100yards and home defense. would you recommend one over the other or do I need to look at another option. thanks good review
@gibbyair2 I would go with the vortex MAXIMUM...A red dot or holographic will be ok at 100 yards but much better at home defense. I would go with the vortex if you go to the range alot and the holographic if you mostly leave it in your closet just in case.
@300SpartanX Yes but it's not ideal. Red dots alone don't have any zoom, so the sniper rifle is not of it's full potential. But you CAN put almost any optic on any rifle.

@flubno That is what I would do, holographic or red dot. Then it's more fun than a typical scope. I was using a similar setup today!

I'm willing to spend around $100 on a good sight. What would you recommend for the Keltec PLR 16 pistol? Thanx in advance! :)
