  • What I learnt from this video: The video was recorded by a potato

  • Useless.

  • soooo useless!!!!!! XD

  • I really just aim for the middle pin and hope for the best. I wish I had this kind of control.

  • I just shoot the center pin with a #10 .....it takes out most of them.....so I can get a spare in the next shot =D

  • how did i get here from scarlet o hara band? O_O

  • how did i get here from call of duty videos?

  • I didn't get to see him roll the ball :(

  • There is a kegel powerpoint instructional presentation in which you can see how biomechanics change depending on where your aim is.

  • Thumbs up if Bowling For Soup brought you here. :)

  • why does this have so many views and so few rates and comments lol

  • 1,138,266....err 267 views of "How To Use Lane Arrows in Bowling"....think I'll post a clip of "How to Rotate the Tires on A 2004 Ford Ranger Pick Up....should bring in at least 750,000 minimum....

  • i was gonna see the vid and BMW PULLED ME OUTA HERE

nice video just in case ....

  • How to be an expert bowler in 1:46 seconds! Wow, if you only taught nuclear fission, nobody (or everybody according to your demo) would have the bomb. The only nearsighted person involved in this "trainer" is the trainer. Hey, am I on tv? hi, everybody! So this is the nitty-gritty explanation for Futile-ball. I'm here to teach you everything you won't learn on youtube. When it comes to bowling, I won't teach you anything you can't learn tripping over the fault-line. Where are the arrows again?

  • Whoa whoa....slow down man. I couldn't keep up.

  • so it began to become unclear follwoing the arrows explanations.... you lost us on the following targets...could you please post again with a more clearer and concise video?

  • @martysmartylol subscribe?

  • @Starioshka no

  • I didn't learn enything.

  • i've bowled for 11 years and i never really used the markers on the lanes.. it really depends on where you stand and how you throw the ball.. simple as that.. no need to go into technical details!!!!!

  • oh my god im the 1.000.000 ´st view oh my god

  • @MehrDrogen did a pop-up window come up and cpngratulated you? What you win?

  • @TKaarel no i win nothing

    but a nice screensot :D

  • 138, 756 videos?

  • not much info.

  • It's the human PedoBear!

  • 0:02

  • wikipedia is better

  • thats a pedo stache

  • @Alucard20039 Thus "Bowling Lessons for Beginners"

  • is the bowling lane even or is it a bit curved?

  • @Dragonathan They're supposed to be straight.

  • ohhhh, so that's what the arrows are there for !!! this guy. i would have paid big money for that lesson.

  • /watch?v=yUox_lELbwQ

  • txt pic is stupid

  • Really? nearly a million hits?

  • Get rid of the text over the picture. What's wrong with you?

  • What I want to know is who needs beginners lessons?I learned how to bowl when i was 5.

  • One time i ALMOST got the 4-7-10 split!!!!!

  • borring!!!

  • 0:18 How do we throw the ball at the pins? YOU ROLL THE BALL AT THEM....

  • press f5 and the add will go away no lies

  • This is so lame

  • wow - i'm a pro bowler after that! was that meant to be serious?

  • ... ???

  • what my

  • In all expert village's videos they tell obvious stuff...

  • Not only does he not tell us how to use the arrows, he doesn't show us how terrible of a bowler he is.

  • bowling if you needed to learn howtalk to your neghborhood gaylord

  • AHHHH EXPERT VILALGE HAS VIDEOS EVERYWHERE THAT ARE USELESS~!!!!! the world is coming to destruction

  • HAHAHAH BOWLING IS LAMMME

  • i learnded something today

  • Instead of writing what you are saying, how 'bout show us an example?

  • i keep on getting gutter ball because of you

  • I'm pro and I still have to refer back to this video.

  • HURR DURR, i know how long a bowling lane is, lets make a tutorial explaining that

  • why does expert village make videos..... everything i watch here doesnt help at all

  • That's funny you guys... I only see one pinhead.

  • I recomend that you stop putting does letters

  • thats not even an tutorial or a how-to video

  • I did not even know that, because my guide dog never barked about it.

  • well atleast i no what way the ball has to travel :) (N)

  • What im suppose to learn from this o.O

  • What the Hell does this guy think he's saying? All he did was state the most obvious part!

  • at 0:46 he had a bit of trouble there

  • @Xialiba same he didnt really point to the arrow !!!!!!

i still dont know which arrow is which lol

  • it very short

  • i suck at bowling lol

    check out my video

the 2nd one to bowl iz me.

  • I GAVE U GUys a thumbs up bruv c'mon the America'sxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Dont like the ads.

  • just roll the ball next to the middle and ull score

  • you wont score by rolling down the center, you'll hit the 1 pin dead on and usually you will get a split

  • @JuStAnAsIaNboY your not a bowler, are you?

  • did he say 60ft? I really don't think it's that Long ?

  • Actually - the dots at the foul line are for your lead toe - there are NOT for the ball to hit!!!!!! Your "lead toe" is - if you are right handed - your LEFT toe - left handed - your rigth toe!!! (for a normal 4 step approach - I use a 5 step approach - but STILL end up on my LEFT toe - I'm right handed!)

And normally - your "mark" that you try to hit with the ball - is several boards left or right of "your arrow"!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for this, im bowling tomoz so this helps alot

  • hey goodtimes what is your name and location? I will look you up in the usbc yearbook average's.

  • Earthlinked. just because he is a 237 average does not mean he would be on of the "greatest bowlers in history"!! you have to take into account that maybe he doesnt bowl on sport shots like the PROS DO. now i just barely started looking at the arrows and i have a 210 average and 4 300's but there is always room for imporvement bud!

  • thanks :]

  • im superlow at this but its fun to do with friends ++

  • I roll the flubbins to the right of the 7 board and then release it on the jurgens on the TLC tip. Strike, strike, strike everytime!!! It's rare release done by Joop Zootmelk of The Netherlands. Done and done!

  • his mustache creeps me out

  • I think those arrows are worthless, I never even look at the arrows and I'm a good bowler. My average is 180 and my high is 238.

  • same with me, im at a 237 average bowled 4 300's and i dont pay attention to the arrows. if i find a spot in the lane i like, i use it

  • You are a terrible liar - and it is OBVIOUS!!!

With a 237 average - you would be one of the greatest bowler in history!! And only 4 300's - that is near impossible!! I averaged 196 for 12 years and had 9 300 games - and 4 299's!!

Oh - and one more thing you lying idiot - EVERYBODY - and I mean EVERYBODY uses the arrows! You find your "mark" by the specific number of "boards to hit" on one side or the other of "your arrow" - depending on how they have oiled the lanes that day! GOOBER!!!

  • I don't use the arrows at all. x]

My average is 160, not that high, but I find it harder to use the arrows...LOL.

  • @Earthlinked wow you must have bowled terrible the other games if you had 9 300's and 4 299's and only averaged 196, go somewhere

  • NOOOOOOOOOO!!! And average is over 90 games - 3 games per week - for 30 weeks!!!!!

And a 237 average is worth about$250,000 per year on the PBA tour!!! LIARS!!!!!

Also - let the liars brag - they HAVE NOT bowled any 300's!!!!!!!! ABC (American Bolwing Congress) - keeps these records!!!!

  • yeah 237 on a PBA shot is worth 250,000 a year but not on a house shot and who cares about 300's. 800's are the true measure of a good bowler.

  • true. i for one am still waiting :(

  • ok bowl at thunderbowl one of the worst spots to bowl then tell me you use the arrows asshole and btw im only 18 i dont plan on being "the best bowler ever" its called having equipment which obviously you dont have

  • alright i have a question for you earthlinked. why are the "keys" even on the lane if everybody uses the arrows? im not saying your wrong, i just wanna know if they serve a purpose.

  • Simple: To give bowlers a choice!!!! You have 3 choices - keys - arrows and boards!!! You start with keys - then you go to arrows - then hit a specific board (example: my spot was 8 boards!!)

I never used keys - only arrows and boards!!!!

  • I didn't know that about the lanes. I'm a novice at bowling with some skill but the first time I bowled over 200, I got a 242 and I didn't know jack about the lanes. When you get in the zone, you just duplicate the same shot over and over. It's kind of weird. Now that I know this, I'm even more interested lol.

  • @thunder1276 no, i didnt said in the middle, just between the middle and next to it. i know cause i play bowling quite sometime, and believe me, i got turkey out of it. although i do sometime want to spin the ball, which i dont know how....

  • @thunder1276 i never really noticed the keys but i think its just for people to line up hooks

  • Roll straight for the middle, because you're always going to be a little off. Roll as hard as you can. Close your frames. The end.

  • The best advice I give to beginners is, Walk streight. swing your arm streight at your target. and point you thumb streight. start with these basics and go from there

  • @alucard200399

    Thank you

    amen

  • this has nothing to do with using the arrows.

  • how do you figure, it explains quite clearly, ""Try rolling it over many TARGETS"" by TARGETS he means the arrows, roll it at different ARROWS to hit different areas in the PINS. Simple as that =)

  • the arrows are not what you want to focus on the most...they are more of a guide. you want to use the arrows as easy ways to count boards. you want to be more targeted at certain boards and get use to how and when your ball (depending on your style of throwing and how you have it drilled) will react

  • he's right about the measurement of the line, bunch of idiots, to be exact 62 feets.

  • that guy looks like a coke head

  • 60 feet??

  • There is NO WAY that is 60 feet. Perhaps 30, possibly 40-45, but that is not 60.

  • A bowling lane is 60 feet. You're sitting at a computer, where you can learn virtually everything. Google it.

  • ok smart one

  • yay he has the same name as me :D

  • they wanna see if it helps

  • The Powerball will help you greatly in bowling. View my channel to take your game to the next level.

  • Okei you do it :)))))))))))) no you dont -.-

  • then whyd you watch it?

  • yep

  • @cs512tr

    Soooo true

  • nice auto Q reading kinda sad

  • glenn!!! long time no see. it's eric.

  • If I am hitting just a little high on the head pin or a little light then sometimes I move my target up and down a spot on the lane, if i move my target closer to me my ball will have a earlier breaking point and if i move my target away from me my ball has a later breaking point, its just a trick i use, and sometimes i will look at the dots in front of my feet.

  • if your ball isnt hitting the pocket right and moving your target doesn't work, you usually adjust your feet around half a board. if your ball is going to far to the left move more to the left and hit the same target. and as a bowler i wouldn't recomend looking at the dots at the foul like i would look at the lane but every person has a different approach

  • Comment removed

  • then why dit you click on thsi vid?

  • You can't use the foul line to help you aim... You'd be staring at your feet as you were bowling..

  • as a bowler who uses the foul line to aim, i'd say youre wrong.

  • Actually you can use the foul line. the guy that has been coaching me looks at his feet and where they land on the foul line.

  • That is actually possible. The guy that helped me improve my bowling looks at his feet while he bowls.

  • 22.6..strike...14 pound ball...and it was my second time ever bowling, at age 26. Last night was my first time ever.

  • Over 9000 mph

  • Lol, loved it!

  • 35 mp/h

  • 26 MPH

  • 24.5 mph

  • yeah well i bowled one 18.6mph, beat that suckas

  • I average 18

  • wow, ok... you don't have to boast... no one likes a boaster you know, jeeeezee. well done

  • This is a lane. Its flat. Its slick. And those are pins. You want to take your ball, and knock all those pins down by rolling it down this slick lane. Good God this is awful. This dude sounds like the hippie teacher from Beavis & Butthead

  • this don't teach much

  • omg.. are there arrows in the lane? ;)

  • no...its an illusion lol

  • No you don't got the balls ._.

  • hibbing bowlers are the best

  • This video doesn't tell you "how to use lane arrows." It just defines them. Fail.

  • ok ?

I simply taught myself after watching a euro sport bowling show ... commercial thing.

and I just watched how they threw they´re right foot backwards and about a month later I went bowling and I did the exact same thing on a lane and got about 4 strikes a game the first time :D

the same thing happened with high-jumping. or whatever u call it :)

  • they teach things like ppl are stupid

  • lol you guys should make a vid on how to number multiple vid tutorials

    *cough*like this one*cough*

  • I guess bowling REALLY excites him....

  • haha it does

  • LOL !!!! I spitted the water i was drinking after reading this xDDDD!!!!!

  • now tell me something I don't know? The title says "how to" use the arrows, but all you did is explain why they're there xD.

  • i bowl and i dont use the arrows. i rely on the pins. Abd it works too my high is 265

  • man u shouldnt use the pins. if you use a closer spot on the lane its more acuarate and consistent. but i dont even use the arrows. i use the dots that are closer. iv bowled 4 300's and a 843 for city high series. believe me man it will help especially if you play money games

  • The lane is 39 inches wide!

  • 42 actually.

  • 1:12

  • what??

  • LOL!!

  • just watch Dom Barrett... he does none of this beginner village stuff! or Antony Lakey ...banter!

  • i wanna roll the ball

  • wouldnt call that freaky just the huge light display that is shining down on the floor. but hey good try

  • at 1:12 look at the floor in front of the guy. I see a reflection of a bowling pin. Freaky!

  • Hahah !! I saw it too !

  • Helpful video, to bad there are so many people trolling it.

  • thanks tips...

  • i dont use arrows or dots i just simple look at the pins when i bowl and it works

  • I find that using the Arrows works much better then using the pins. To each their own though.

  • ok than.. ive been bowling for 8 years and there are no dots on the foul line at all there above it

and you need to learn your pin numbers..

  • lol "hick"? xD

  • haha

  • Using the arrows works for a while, on the easier patterns, but eventually, you have to learn how to roll it over specific boards. I always go cross-eyed trying to find that perfect one. = P

And the way this guy said, "We entered our names in the computer" made it sound like they made a video about entering names. Ahahahaha, fail.

  • heres the arrow heres the dot heres the closer dot now your a pro

  • wat the hack... u got a perfect game??? hw heavy is ur ball??? and hw th hack u do that?? and hw old were you when you strted bowling???

  • what the "hack"????

  • OMG HACKS!

  • bt we cld use the dots at the fault line as guides right? to set on course for the arrow?

  • Wes Malott looks at the foul line, so does Glenn Allison; it's worked well for them.

  • I'm 14 and in my first game i had 22 points!

  • thanks for the help :D

  • im 16 and watch my bowling techniques video. I hsow u the best and easiest ways to bowl

  • I'm 20 and my average is 50 LOOL!!!

  • im 11 and on my birthday i bowled a 257 and im not lieing
