It is far too simplistic to say it is all about money.

In fact it is more interesting than that. It started with the Club of Rome and their desire to find (or engineer) a problem that would force governments into action on sustainable development. These are mostly well meaning people with a genuine concern for the future of our planet. It is just a shame they feel they can not treat the the public like adults and so resort to doomsday prophecies in order to scare us into action.

I've have disscused this issue with Godfrey Bloom online. I got in touch with him, he replied and I corrected the points that he made and I asked for a reply, twice. And you know what, he didn't get back to me because he had nothing to say.
