  • As a teacher of English of four years I can safely say that going 'off piste' in the classroom is now akin to an act of rebellion. How sad is that?

  • Nice

  • "Undivided" attention in math... Is that possible? ;)

  • ......And please keep clapping..for....(who gives a shit, they aint better than Mali)

  • "Who can teach when there are such lessons to be learned?"

    That is Language.

  • this guys rhetoric is incredible.

  • The garbage truck used to come on thurdays when i was in seventh grade and no matter what class it was, we all stopped what we were doing, rushed to the window, and watched the garbage man.

  • ....and then I thought, "Hey! He just divided my attention".

  • Who can teach when there are such lessons to be learnt...

    fantastic line

  • 2 people could not pay attention

  • Absolute brilliance.

    Mr Mali's website includes this:

"after hearing his work, 607 people have told him they will now become teachers. [He is] the man who wants to create one thousand new teachers.”

Between that and the fact that 2 weeks after the last comment, there are still no dislikes, it's almost enough to restore faith in humanity.

    Happy New Year, everyone.

  • No dislikes. All is right with the world. Though I bet someone will troll and dislike it now -_-

  • im twelve and i get this

  • "So almost falling" :)

  • "And I'm trying to teach math across the street..."

    I lol'd. So hard. :)

  • wow this guys good

  • This is beautiful. His poems are always very true.

  • oh I wish I could be one of your students-how fortunate for them to have you.

  • @xxzyoungxx He's not a teacher anymore (: He quit years ago ^^

  • @Ydh72mye That's not true. He's been teaching me something new everytime I listen to one of his poems.

  • This is just great, I have been teaching in France in college for years and this is so truth, so BEAUTIFUL, I love it. I agree, let us teach like a new snow falling ! Helas, they want us most of the time to create polite and obedient workers, eliminate the unruly children, and not helping kids to become clever citizen... this is why it is so difficult to teach like the new snow falling, the kids love that and it is so efficient... But the system do not like us looking through the window

  • because the system is put in to make workers, why imo most countries students who come out of college/uni are massively in debt and forced to find any job to pay off their loans, not actually get a job in the field they went through for.

the fault also lays within our system of perpetual debt.
