The garbage truck used to come on thurdays when i was in seventh grade and no matter what class it was, we all stopped what we were doing, rushed to the window, and watched the garbage man.
This is just great, I have been teaching in France in college for years and this is so truth, so BEAUTIFUL, I love it. I agree, let us teach like a new snow falling ! Helas, they want us most of the time to create polite and obedient workers, eliminate the unruly children, and not helping kids to become clever citizen... this is why it is so difficult to teach like the new snow falling, the kids love that and it is so efficient... But the system do not like us looking through the window
because the system is put in to make workers, why imo most countries students who come out of college/uni are massively in debt and forced to find any job to pay off their loans, not actually get a job in the field they went through for.
the fault also lays within our system of perpetual debt.
As a teacher of English of four years I can safely say that going 'off piste' in the classroom is now akin to an act of rebellion. How sad is that?

Absolute brilliance.
Mr Mali's website includes this:
"after hearing his work, 607 people have told him they will now become teachers. [He is] the man who wants to create one thousand new teachers.”
Between that and the fact that 2 weeks after the last comment, there are still no dislikes, it's almost enough to restore faith in humanity.
Happy New Year, everyone.
