I'm a big fan of MC's work, in fact the first adult fiction novel I read was Andromeda Strain when I was 11. I finished reading Next about a month before he died, I didn't even know the book exsisted until shortly there before, and it was great.
I hate dogs in general: when I was little I used to get chased by them all the time, I have bite scars all over my legs and the thing is it wasn't just one dog: it was like every dog one my block.
why would it be illegal in America? and legal in China? are you saying US won't do things for a buck? what is really scary is thay if you can do it to a dog, why can't you do it to a person. ok. maybe not scary but cool. who wouldn't want that?
Haha there is a higher chance of this occurring in America than in China considering that they still ratain morals from thousands and thousands of years ago, while US morals are decade changing.
What is really scary is that we are within 1-2 decades of this being possible. Okay, so we ban this sort of thing in the US....do you really think China would make it illegal, when there is a profit to be made?
I think they might actually make this stuff. I already want one...I've been looking everywhere for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and I saw an ad with a cav puppy, looked what it was about, and it was for permapuppy. Geez I hope these come out soon, I want one for Christmas or my birthday!

What? I'm not a fan of PETA, but it seems cruel to alter a dog's genetic code so that it stays a puppy forever. That is, if this is real.

This doesn't look like a very original topic from Chrichton, seeing as he's done the DNA thing already, but I'm looking forward to reading it.
