  • Few people in life strive to do things 'properly'.. While overcooked and bad cheese melt, for her age she does know what she's doing and strives to do things properly. When she gets older, she'll have fine tastes in life.

  • @HypeTingStudio haha ^.^ The cheese was just weird, it didn't want to melt properly so i left it in the oven longer to melt it, but it just ended up over cooking the crust without melting even further. Never again with that brand of cheese ;p

  • hmmm I think the plastic on the rolling pin is supposed to be removed before use...

  • its supposedly the volcanic soil and the climate of San Marzano Italy that gives the tomatoes their flavor. personally i was really disappointed when I tried San MArzanos. My mom always used tuttorosso and I think they are the best. but since i moved to Canada I cannot get them. Tomatoes around here are all terrible! So i researched and read about San Marzanos. I got really excited to try them but they were just so NOT MAGICAL like Tuttoroso.

  • Hey thanks!!

Yeah, I can imagine tomatoes in Canada not being the tastiest, too cold there! XD

Thanks goodness for canned tomatoes ;p

You can probably ask the store you shop at to special order the tomatoes you like??

  • You have done a great job with that style of pizza. I too enjoy making home made pizza. It has been on my bucket list for a long time. Nothing is more fun then having friends and relatives over for home pizza. I also make home made wine that really sets thing off. Then, after the the pizza and wine have taken effect I bring out the accordion for a little entertainment! Keep it up girl. Cooking is such a fine traddition. The true way to a mans heart is throught is stomach.

  • HI Julie! YOu amazed me again. You always find something interested to share. Pizza looks good, and I am sure it's deliciouse. Did you eat it by yourself or invited your friends over, too? BTW, did you get a chance go to California Islands as you planned to go there during this Spring?

  • Julies my moms name!n lol ;)

I can't remember if I was a piggy and ate it all my self? haha

And nope, I never went, things interfered, BUT, I still wanna go and will someday. When I do, I'am gona make a vid of it. :)

    So how are you!?

  • I am doing fine. I am still waiting for your invitation to join you for your next trip :))))

  • E for effort.

Its nice that you are intrested in cooking at such a young age. So many of my friends in their 30's have no idea how to cook except but to buy frozen pizzas.

  • Thank you :)

Yeah I know what you mean. And the thing is, it's so easy! And tastes much better to make your own then to buy frozen. ;p

    Cheers!

  • Hi, I'm from Italy. Some time ago I was searching for California beach and instead I have found you making pizza while very old "napoletana" music is playing! Let me tell you that It seems to me you are on the right way to do a very good pizza! Bye.

  • Wow thanks! XD

What an honor coming from someone who lives in Italy, home of the best pizzas! ;p

I'am from Cali, and I've made a few beach vids in case you're still looking for some. ;)

    Cheers!

  • heres a tip: spread olive oil on the dough before you top it with the tomato sauce and whatnot. This allows for the tomatoes to not soak into the crust and make it soggy. Also, the olive oil makes it taste better :) haha.

  • Hey thanks! ^.^

I'll keep that im mind when I make a thicker crust dough. But as for this one, it stays nice and crisp even when there's left overs. XD But you're right, I do drizzle olive oil on the edges 'cause it tastes very good. ;p

  • can i wrap you up and take you home,,,a woman who can make good pizza,,,awesome

although,,time to trade the roller in for a little hand pounding and a toss or two

    Good Job!!

  • lol! Thanks! XD yeah, I wanted to try and toss the dough in the air, but it would have probably landed on my head or something. ;p

  • dough isn't too hard to toss. Just learn the basics and it's actually alot easier than it looks.

  • Oh YUM! 8D

  • Your cat's namer is "Armandoe"? Cool... That's my step-grandfather's name is Armandoe.

That pizza looks great! So, when are you going to make me one? LOL. You're a master chef... I haven't tried making homemade pizza yet.

  • hehehe, Cool cat name....I'd end up be lazy and giving him a nickname like Arm, or something, lol, ;p....Come on over and I'll bake you a fresh one..with a cover fee of $30.00 of course....LOL...j/k..You should try it, it's really fun! And then you can say, "It's not delivery, it DeChris!"

  • its the seeds, the tomatoes where ( i dnt know the right word for this ) bred like that, only the seeds that had the best qualitys that they wanted were planeted all the others where thrown away....im reeali reali hungry now :(...oooooh i just remeber i gotta pizza in the freezer and lol u said napoleon again :P nee--oh--poll--ee-tan..well thats what they sell in Naples anyway...am off to eta a pizza now myself XD XD XD

  • 2 days to make a pizza - wow! ...and you didn't even have to fly the dough? I thought that was a requirement. I guess I watch too much TV! XD I got some weird cheese like that once - it didn't melt right and acted more like plastic than cheese! Really good mozzarella is super gooey, stringy and majorly yummy when hot! [drool]

Anyway, great show and very interesting - 5 stars for you! :D

  • Thanks! =D...I was soooooo tmpted to toss the dough in the air! But I didn't want to land on the floor or something..;p

yeah, I love freah mozza, the kind packed in water..but I used it once, and it melted all over the oven. 8o *ah*

  • that was a really smart way to get the dough onto the little shovel thing lol, i never touhgt of that. i never tried the tomato-only sauce, i normally make my sauce like traditional with tomatos and all the other stuff, and that is amazing cause i get the tomatos from my garden, ^.^

it looked really good, wish i had some, i am really hungry know.

(that is awsome that u got the "through the roof n underground song in it) and was that the beatles at the end, what song, i dont think i have it

  • Thanks!! ^-^...yeah, it was the Beatles, it's called "Julia"....I <3 <3 <3 "Through the ruff undergroung"! You have no idea...XD

And yes! I definatly recomend you trying San Marzano tomatoes....make sure they're the real deal though....They are the best! Bar none...But fresh ones from the garden are a 2nd close...XD..how neat,,I have a tomatoe plant..no tomatoes yet though.

  • ya, tomatoes should be coming in soon. lol, last year i planted some corn, and tried to make some flour...it didnt turn out too well. i just thought of that

  • ps..

i'll make sure to try those tomatoes, did u say u have to order them?

  • Mmmmmm tasty!

  • It was gooood....even though the cheese was weird...I mean, it tasted good, but it didn't melt like normal...it was a diff. brand then what I usually get. I can make you some, I have more dough. XD
