My name is Laurie and I was diagnosed with LAM in 2000 when I was 19 years old. My sister just reccently told me that around the time of my diagnosis,the doctors told her that I have a life expectancy of 5 more years.I am now 27&I thank God everyday for the gift of life.Everyday is a gift,a blessing,and I'm not gonna let any illness interfere with that outlook.Even though I have been oxygen dependent for the past 2 years,life is&always will be a beautiful gift/journey.
