  • 最初に演奏してる女性が綺麗すぎる...

  • 2fast , but georgeous

  • WHAT? he didnt honor the snarist first? what a shame!

  • Beautiful....

  • I'm not thick, i know there is a conductor, what he is doin and whats the main job of it?

  • i love this piece, it reminds me of ice skating, them two skaters were wicked :) p.s how many people were playin?

  • Ma soper so

  • Todas las niñas de la orquesta están bien guapas, no hay una que este fea. Ahí se nota que es algún país de Europa del este

  • Beautiful!! I especially loved how they got such beautiful music out of such young musicians. Bravo tutti!!

  • I like the flute player

  • Muy Bueno... ya esta dentro de mis Favoritos

  • absolutely fabulous. too bad they left part of it out. thanks for uploading this

  • Exquisito y extraordianario concierto...

  • やっぱりボレロはいいですね

  • Outstanding performance!!!

  • sva čast ovo je dobro

  • LOL @ the blonde guy at 0:52...HE KNOWS

  • Così giovani , così bravi, molto bravi.

  • Great kids, great job! This is my all time favorite classic piece. The instruments were in wrong order, and some were substituted, as was the cae of the bassoon being subbed at the third part of the piece. The E-Flat Clarinet was suppossed to play AFTER the bassoon. But they skipped that part alltogether and eliminated the bassoon.

  • Great kids, great job! This is my all time favorite classic piece. The instruments were in wrong order, and some were substituted, as was the cae of the bassoon being subbed at the third part of the piece.

  • ...but...where is the bassoon solo? it's supposed to be third...

  • digimon 1 ost :O

  • One of the most important aspects of Bolero is the constant crescendo. The first part of this composition is supposed to be subtle, but the snare drummer begins too loud and destroys that atmosphere. By the way, the last part is not harmonic.

It's not a bad performance, though. They're still young and it's much better than many other things, but I think we shouldn't say this was the "best performance ever in YouTube". Cristoph Eschenbach's one is much better.

  • @cronosmu i do agree with what you've said about the snare drummer, but have in mind that he is so very young and this, for him, i think is a great honor. Imagine being so young and getting to play this important part of such a wonderful composition. \

  • @cronosmu They say it's ONE OF the best on YouTube and I agree!

  • muy rápido...no me gusta así.

  • @MrVolvone Completamente de acuerdo. El tempo hacia el final es desastrozo.

  • This is my favourite piece ever. And it's really nice to see so many young and talented musicians. :D

  • Great job! This is one of my all time favorite pieces for relaxing, so I just heard it without watching - and now I realize these are young people. Love it! ^.^

  • The clarinet girl who keeps wiggling around is weird

  • @penguinejb This girl is one of the best clarinet players in Europe. She will perform in Gallus Hall Mozart klarinet concert in december with orchestra. She is now I think in Japan in masterclass. She is really nice girl and virtuoso player. So be carefull with your words.

  • @zevnikov

Wonderful Ravel. Bolero is one of my favorite pieces. All the kids are wonderful. Although the boy of the box has been wrong several times. Thank you for this beautiful concert.

  • The clarinet girl who keeps wiggling around is wierd

  • @penguinejb

dude, the clarinet player has lost almost all of her vision and sight, and she still performs in the form of world's elite players, that is much better than you will ever achieve with your insults over youtube comments...

  • Two words...BAD-ASS!!! Beautiful music coupled with Super Gorgeous Ladies makes for a delight to the ears and eyes. This is the best orchestral performance I've seen on youtube so far by very talented young people. I agree that the snare drum was a tad bit loud, but dude did a great job!

  • Very well done. Better than many of the big-name orchestras I've heard do Bolero.

Loved the snare. I also loved that the artists move their bodies. something about that sits well with me. I love seeing them "feel" the music when other performers often stay so rigid. Well done. and... I loved the snare.

  • Meraviglioso!

  • Beautiful! And I like the snare drum!

  • Cette musique est certes répétitive mais on ne s'en lasse pas !

  • Beautiful young men. Nice eye candy. And the snare drum was too loud at the start.

  • Such young artists and such a magnificent performance...BRAVO!

  • It is so nice to see the young people playing world class music. Though for me, it was a little sobering because, after WWII, so many European orchestras were staffed with young and very old people because so many of the former musicians were no longer with us. I'm so glad this is not the case. A beautiful performance.

  • Thank you for your comments, check out the rest of our videos - Sheherezade, Firebird etc. :)

  • thank you

  • This was amazing. Bolero is probably my favorite piece of classical music, and this is a great performance of it. Who are these people? I mean, they all look like high school kids, but they're very talented.

  • So young and so talented!!! Awesome performance!

  • wow! these young people are amazing!! thankyou for an excellent performance.

  • Muitooo lindoooo \o/ Emocionante!!

  • i cry! it's to beautifull... compliments to this handsome artistes !!!

  • An incredible performance! Hvala!

  • to all in the orchestra, that sent shivers down my spine. i thank you from the depths of heart and i hope you keep doing what you do x

  • Bravissimi!

  • Bravissimi giovani!

  • amazingg!!!!!

  • the snare is WAY too loud at the start

  • @retrolol It's up to the conductor to decide how he wants the composition played.

  • @retrolol The men. Shame on you.

  • @retrolol

    Yeah, I agree

  • @retrolol Exactly, I thing the same. In many version is very quiet and soft, in this version is loud and hard. Sorry for my bad english, I´m mexican.

  • @retrolol It might be alittle louder because they are playing it at a faster tempo...Bolero is normally 17:00 but they did it in 13:30...I liked it alot....

  • What happened to the ending ?

By the way, bravo show though.

  • Of course, horns frack @3:07 :-(

  • i like the trombon solo :D

    6:14

  • Nice chicks :P

  • the drummer make a mistache at 04:00... lol.

  • @matrixizada - so did you - at 'mistake' - lol

  • BRAVI AGLI ORCHESTRANTI....UN ESECUZIONE IMPECCABILE.....

  • at the1928 premiere a woman shouted that Ravel was mad. When told about this, Ravel smiled and remarked that she had understood the piece, great quote

  • rather, he is like this aha she understood paragraph

  • Have I ever seen something impressiv like this? I don't think so ... Wow!!!

  • Excellent! I could almost smell the instruments!

  • le falta un poco de dedrama al final en el desenlace de tambores y cuerdas pero es la mejor versión juvenil que eh escuchado!

  • Increible tanta belleza. Necesariamente la mano de Dios estuvo ahí. ¡Felicitaciones!

  • Perfektion.

  • CONGRATULATIONS guys and happy 2011

  • Très belle interprétation, très bon orchestre, bravo !

  • Very well interpreted, with respect of the inuendos and dramatic unfoldings. Great vid, too, which gives the opportunity to seee which instrument or group of is involved at any one time before the finale. it beomes really entrancing as of 08.40 onwards.
