@SurvivingTheHorizon He bet the pot on a 9 8 3 rainbow flop, and bet the pot with over pair, bold move, not silly. Then he was pot comitted to call the all in.
I hope Walhroos takes some time to think about his play with the isolation strategy and over-commit with only an overpair. There is a reason why Tom makes money and this was one example.
@papichulobumber1 confused at ur comment...durrrr is well known for playing 100k+ pots with big names like Ivey online...he doesnt only play cheap sng's
lol at 8867 being a "loose, risky play". It's pretty much a standard play to be calling with these type of hands especially in multi way pots where you can assume your opponents mostly have paint cards.
I've seen some games on full tilt, also on high stakes poker and I think in cash games Durrr is better than Gus,Ivey or Antonious, but not so good in tournaments!
If you're winning or losing around 35.. yeah, it is wrong to feel that way. My monthly poker income is around 4000 and i don't even consider myself a pro, maybe a semi-pro.
either you transfer your winnings to your visa like I do, or creat an online banking account and transfer your winnings there or get two pieces of id email it to full tilt then get a check for how much money you want to withdraw.
i am always curious as to why ppl hate on durr. Is it because he plays a lot of hands and gets in with the worst of it a lot? He makes money on more than just his cash games. He has a lot of money out there in backing others and investments, dwan can handle losing 1 million in a nite, because he has an insane amount coming to him on a weekly basis.
i am a poker pro winning and losing up to 35 dollars a day, and these types of hands happen all the time.. in order to be as good as me u need a bankroll big enough to withstand the swings.
wtf, how can you be a poker pro when you win or lose 35 dollars a day? Poker pro means you play poker for a living, and unless you live in your mother's basement theres no way 35 dollars can feed you.
Meh. Once he pots the flop he pretty much committed himself (he also had a gutter). Turns out he was drawing live to a 7 or a J. And he was getting 4-1 so, he only needs to win 20% of the time to call. Plus sometimes Durr has a wrap or something like AKQ9ds which walroos will be a better than 20% against. He played it ok.. postflop he could bet like 1/2 pot, and fold to a raise as an alternative line. But the potsized bet commits him
Hey could someone lend me some money on Full Tilt Poker? I am trying to get going on there. My user name is fatdad100. Come on guys it is Christmas Eve, its the giving season!!!!

NL becomes boring after awhile. Omaha is much more exciting imo, but is a tougher game to play bc you have to have the discipline to lay down some monster hands that are probably 2nd best.
