I was at this tour in 86 (the Manchester gig) & they Truly were on form - made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end!! Saw them in the late 70s but definitely the 86 gigs were the best.

you have to add, that the audience went nuts by itself, nobody told them to start jumping, and this all happened just 5 MINUTES after the beginning of the show. That's just something you don't get today!!

That I admire most of Freddie: he rushes out onto the stage and after the first song he has the audience (80.000+) in the palm of his hand.

That's the "magic", especially of the opening to this show!!!

Even now after 25 years I remember like it was yesterday. I cry when I watch Freddie now. He was taken from us way before his time. I still have my Live Aid ticket in frame on my wall. All other gigs fade into the distance when it comes to one of Queens gigs.
