  • This is a funny episode...but it is a bargain basement "Sorry" episode!

  • I love the scene at 4:08 where Eunice crinkles up the money and throws it at Ed. One of the best scenes ever!! God bless the creators of this show.

  • Oh my god I love this show. What year did this show air?

  • Monopoly brings out the sore loser in everyone

  • great video I see that many people here want an Xbox.... very good vieoa Haiow

  • oh man my family is super competitive with every board or card game we play haha...

  • They put the "fun" in dysfunctional!

  • @littlebit19801 Phillip is Vinton.. its the same guy just younger. there was a pervious Phillip on the show then he got replaced with Vinton

  • @Mixva ...Phillip was played by Roddy McDowell...

  • @Mixva ...Phillip was played by Roddy McDowell...Vinton was played by Ken Berry.,..Two different brothers played by two different actors...

  • @Mixva .....Phillip was a famous writer who in one episode had just won the Pulitzer Prize. He lived in Hollywood and in Rome. Vinton was a locksmith who lived all of his life in Raytown. They are two different brothers.

  • "IN MONOPOLY!!!" hehehehe!

  • This is so funny, I love it when Ed goes "I believe that's 50 not 15..1,0,5,0 !"

  • Reality Bulletin: Mama's/Grandma's like this indeed exist! I have seen them. :-0 This character is almost dead on.

  • "Let him enjoy making a little money...he never had that pleasure in REAL life!" - priceless hahaha :D!

  • @cyphrinfinity Looking back come to think of it the "Mama" skits were one of my favourite parts of the Carol Burnett show. My other favourite was Tim Conway and Carol doing the boss and secretary skits - his walking so slow, and Carol spending more time "doing her nails" than typing LOL hahaha!

  • Eunice was just on Boardwalk and she rolled a 12 (doubles). She would have had to pass GO ($200). Rolling a 12 would have placed her on Venter Ave or Oriental Ave., right?--not St. Charles Place.

  • SHOULD I GET AN ACCOUNTANT IN HERE???? HAHAHAHAHAHA...

  • My husband owns his own business so he was off on Tues & Wed sometimes. My sister had surgery & took 6 weeks off work so she stayed with us. Since I'm a stay at home wife & mother, we were home all day together.. We'd play board games while my son was in school. EVERY time we'd end up in a fight. I was Eunice - A bad loser & when I saw this, I realized how crazy I acted. I've laughed so hard my side hurt. I love this but I'd never seen it before. I found it by accident and I'm so glad I did! :)

  • FUNNY AS HELL---THIS IS COMEDY NOT LIKE THE CRAPP ON NOW!!!!

  • this is too funny. Reminds me of my family--ed being my older brother!!

    Ed:"That's fifty,not fifteen,fifty.FIIIVVE O! One-O-FIVE-O!Shell it out baby!One-o-five-o!

  • LOL! "Can you buy houses when it........ Can you buy houses when it's not your turn or do you have to wait"? My Grandmother is written all over that! LOL!

  • I just saw another mama/eunice skit where Ken Berry played the brother they called Phillip, (first i think he was played by Roddy McDowell, and then Alen Alda, and then they settled for Ken Berry, who was the best choice i think, although i do think Alen Alda was the other brother.), i just thought they changed his name thats all.

  • So Buzz and Sonja are half italian.

  • @DerekBayRoberts1 Actually, Buzz and Sonia were Vinton's children. The brother phoning from Italy was Philip, the brother who was a writer. In one episode of "Mama's Family", Mama mentions that she has four children.

  • @DerekBayRoberts1 They look it, BUT Phillip is NOT Vinton.

  • this is halorous i wish i was around when this was

  • " Oh for pete's sake let him enjoy making a little money. Lord knows he never had that pleasure in real life!"

  • I thought that me and my sister were sore losers, but i have seen a new level!

  • in MONOPOLY!

  • IN MONOPOLY!!!!!!!!

    ROTFLMAO!

  • The best part about monopoly is you find out how much you hate your family lol

  • How's Rome? Is there anything there worth seeing? LOL

  • Ironically, the Dark Blues are among the mediocre monopolies that one can own. The best being the Orange and Red.

  • No, on the original boards the dark blues are Boardwalk and Park Place. Maybe you are thinking of the light blues: Connecticut, Vermont, and Oriental Avenues.

  • @phlashba

Yeah, the dark blues cost a lot of build up and aren't landed on nearly as much as the Orange or Red. Their value is in that they can quickly break a player or individually be used as trading bait.

  • 1050...hehe!

  • IN MONOPOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mama: Don't you use that tone of voice with me mister."

  • all i do in this game is shell out the money my life in one sentence all i do in this life is shell out the money

  • poor poor Eunice all she ever needed was a good lay. maybe she wouldnt have been such a bitch. like my X !! hehehe!! : )

  • This entire family should be medicated!

  • "All right then...all right...TAKE IT ALL!"

  • Boardwalk and Park Place!!! LOL

  • when is this comin to dvd???

    its just a damn game!

  • My whole family would buy a copy if they came out with a Eunice only series. It would be priceless.

  • I would like to thank the poster for this. Classic.

  • THE GENIUSES OF COMEDY.... WISH THEY WERE STILL WITH US.. I'M ONLY 22 AND I can't believe how SUCKY TV IS COMPARED TO THEN.! WOW........

  • PSYCHOBOYAZ: You're hilarious... LOL...

THE GENIUSES OF COMEDY.... WISH THEY WERE STILL WITH US.. I'M ONLY 22 AND I can't believe how SUCKY TV IS COMPARED TO THEN.! WOW........

  • 'It was a SEVEN!!!!!!!!!'

I laughed so hard, a little pee came out.

  • Ah, this show was just hilarious!!!

  • Gotts Love Mama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is what a comedy show is. Had tears running down my face, holding my stomach because i was laughing so hard. I watched this show every week, miss you Carol.

  • "For Pete's sake let him win a little money. Lord knows he never has that pleasure in real life."

    Hysterical!!

  • some times you just got to feel sorry for Eunice.: (

  • This is why I don't play monopoly. "One-oh. Five-oh. Shell it out, baby!"

  • "You're in Rome? Anything over there worth seeing?'" hilarious.

  • You're right. One of the best lines of all. I'm sure the sights of Rome have nothing on those of Raytown.

  • That was one of the better ones. THNKS!!

  • And once more ol' Eunice is the goat! Hilarious clips, love them!

  • I always buy my houses at the end of my turn so I can pay rent if I land somewhere or don't get hit as hard if I draw a nasty "house repairs" card. That aside, isn't this a funny as hell show? I love watching this disfunctional family playing games.

  • I'm still laughing at Mama talking to Phillip, sounds like my conversations with my grandma. LOL!

  • @greeneyes404

    Wow! Sounds cordial. :)

  • This has got to be the best thing ever on TV. Eunice and the family nothing can top these....lol

  • My sister can do Eunice to a T...lol

  • Oh, man! Does she ever remind me of my sister when she plays a game & things don't go her way!

  • WOW, this is like how I play Monopoly. lol :P

  • Why didn't Eunice sell back her houses? Also didn't she pass Go when she rolled 12? Shouldn't she get $200? What is the chance of all the players getting at least one row of properties of the same color?

  • You can't buy house unless its your turn and before you roll.CB ROCKS!

  • way to funny

  • ohhhhhh I am laughing, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS-

    OH I NEEDED THIS. LOL

    THANK'S , TEXBOY

  • Make God Laugh Harvey!!! Thanks for the memories!!!!RIP

  • Wait a minute! That last roll by Eunice was wrong. She was on St Charles and rolled a 9, that should have put her on Free Parking, not Kentucky Ave. She would have had to roll a 10 to land there. Besides, instead of morgaging her property, why didn't she just sell her houses back to the bank?

  • Fabulous !! RIP Harvy

  • Thanks Harvey.R.I.P.

  • See ya Harvey.

  • "You're on the skids now, Eunice!" Love Ed's absolute glee!

  • warshed up! cracks me up. The Carol Burnett show was truly a talented group of people.

  • God am i glad i don't know anybody like this. ^_^

  • I love when Eunice crumples up the bills and tosses them at Ed, and then screams outside in the rain!

    ROFLMAO

  • poor Eunice, she can never catch a break!

    p.s. I just noticed Carol has amazing eyes...@ 3:03

  • I always loved it when they did Eunice and Momma on the Carol Burnett show. Very funny, especially when Eunice gets on a roll!

  • Mama's Family was a funny show but can you imagine how funny it would have been with Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman on it every week? OMG! That would have been to much.

  • I just love how they drag everyone else around them (Phillip on the phone) into their nightmare. LOL! Too funny!

  • I love when Eunice starts to bellow!

  • @hj351

Yeah, she is more fun to watch when she bellows. The family sketches will put you in stitches.

  • "St. Charles Place is MINE!"

    -love Mama!!!

  • It was always hillarious to see Eunice loose it!

  • A+!!!

  • The Family Skits are so funny. No matter how many times I watch these, I laugh hysterically.

  • Hell no i ain't happy! Imma a bury this bozo!

    i love mama!

  • Funny how close to home this hits for me. My family used to play monopoly a lot, and this is almost exactly like what a game for us would be. Overly competitive and otherwise hilarious.

And I'm embarrassed to know this from memory, but Kentucky Ave. is 10 spaces away from St. Charles Place, not 9. I couldn't resist mentioning this. They probably chose 9 so that they wouldn't have to worry about doubles again.

Still doesn't take away from what a great skit this is. Thanks for the upload.

  • Yeah, this skit always reminds me of my family too. Me and my cousins used to play Monopoly "by the hour" and acted just like this. A cousin of mine acted just like Eunice when she had to owe someone money- she'd crumble it up and throw it at you like she did with Ed.

Of course, we were all TEENAGERS, not grown-up adults!

  • Thanks to hattrick271 and jph0917 for pointing out the mistake. For a second there, I couldn't figure out why Eunice was dreading Free Parking.

  • ...but that's what made her a great character!

  • Poor Eunice, she lost again!!!

  • What a great show!

    Funny, and just plain good!!
