I JUST finished this song on hard today! I definitely did not get it perfect, but All You have to do is go into practice mode, do the whole song, and start with slowest, and then move up! It worked for me!

OMG I can;t even do this intro decent on hard. I've tried the song over 50 times over the last 3 days, I've beat psychobilly freakout easy enough but this is just killer! The rare times I get past the intro (madybe i've gotten past it 5, maybe 6 times?) I slowly choke on the rest of the song from the poor beginning and then i want to shove the neck of my guitar through the tv.

This song is pissing me off royally as it is.. my best score so far is 169,xxx This is the last song I need to five star to get the achievement. The song before that was Miserlou and it took me somewhere around 10 trys to five star... I had no idea this one was gonna be so damn hard.. this entire song is a bitch.. nothing easy in it really. I've been playing for about 2 months I would say. My brother in law had Rock the 80's that he brought over 3 days ago. I 5 star'd all the medium songs last night. (it's easier than #2) I can't imagine 5 staring the hard songs on GH2, but maybe after a year+? It's nice to hear that other people have felt overwhelmed and have overcome with time and practice. That's the beauty of this game.. progressing in it feels so rewarding. Right now I'm trying to get five stars on this song on hard.. its the last song I need to five star.. then I'm going to move on to dreaded expert. Or I may just go to GH3 and try to five star all the hard songs on it then move to expert. This song is the biggest pain my ass though so far. I had a little trouble with Miserlou and Psycho Billy other than that every other song was cake to 5 star.. been playing for a year

You know what? I used to think the exact same as you. I took one long look at this song in practice mode and said, Theres no way Im gonna beat this. Here I am now, with the Expert career beaten under my belt, now Im going for 5 stars on all the hard songs. Just this one and Psychobilly Freakout (yeah, the last tier songs are actually easier to 5 star than PB!)

It just takes practice. Try it in hyperspeed mode, and if that doesnt work, go back to regular speed... it'll feel really slow.

Thanks for the support. I'm at this point on hard now where I have to get through Carry Me Home and Psychobilly Freakout to get to the next section. It seems possible now, but like you say, it will take a lot of practice. I only have 1 song with 4 stars on hard right now. It's going to be a long road, ha ha.

@Iffy50. how long you been playing for? Thats exactly how i felt too. I finished GH2 on expert about a week before GH3 came out with no intention of coming back to 5 star the hard career. Well after 750/1000 in GH3 I came back to GH2 (cause i was getting sick of the GH3 songs lol) and I have flown through it, with only this song to now beat for the 5 star hard ach. keep persisting, you will be suprised how good you can actually get.

The rest is not hard, if you practice this the multiplier will be always 4x, then you won't fail that easy.

This song kicked my ass a week and a half ago (Hard), but I found a couple of "tricks" to make it easier...

The riff fill starting at 00:19 :

Hit Yellow - Tap Red Hit Blue - Tap Red - Tap Yellow - Tap Blue - Hit Yellow.

The fill changes at the verses... just hit the Green note up and down with the strum bar, just listen at the noise you're doing and repeat it.
