I have a few questions. How can war allow for greater evolution when modern wars eliminate the best and most reproductive elements of society. In Russia, we had entire volumes of the younger, fit and strong males wiped out through war and the weak and cowards lived. No, disease made the development of cities inviable in Africa until recently because sub saharan africa is rife with deaseses. No. Cities are nessisary for civilization. It is in population centers you get specialized jobs not directly related to survival. The larger the cities, the more specialists and the greater the range and degree of specialization. Without cities, you can not get the degree of specialization required. You need cities for factories, universities and so forth. The greatest civilizations in history have been the most urban ones.

I have a few questions. How can war allow for greater evolution when modern wars eliminate the best and most reproductive elements of society. In Russia, we had entire volumes of the younger, fit and strong males wiped out through war and the weak and cowards lived. Also, with society acting as an artificial Dysgenic body, encouraging the base to multiply more then the wise, would this create a society of fools? I believe that although it is true, animals fight for resources and such. We are above them on an intellectual level. We have control over instinctual impulses and have the ability to think rationally. War does not have to be apart of our lives anymore. I'm using Tim Parkin, Roman Demography and Society (Baltimore 1992)- in which is compiled an estimate of the life expectancy of roman CITIZENS to be roughly 52, the average Roman hop-lite could be expected to live up until 33, 10% of the roman population was 70 on average... I hope these suffice.

The notion is that resrouces are not INFINITE but indeed FINITE. And in our crumbling world lead by diseased liberal internationalists, the ratio of resources to people continues to decrease each passing year. Competition is inevitable with limited resources. Two species of fish eating the same prey will eventually learn to fight each other... Selfishness in real life has survival potential. Of course humans are not at all immune to this (far from it).

A corrupt individual which imbessels billions so that he can have sex with a new women every night and sends thousands into poverty is a hero by such perverse Morality.

That it may be in our estimate: cruel or "callous", is completely irrelevant. A rabbit undoubtedly thinks that wolves are nasty and cruel creatures, but that doesn't change anything except to behoove the rabbit to avoid the wolves.
If thousands of humans let themselves be fleeced, and that this sends them into poverty and death, then biologically, these people had no right to live in the first place.

It seems that you are a morally bankrupt individual. Evolution is just an explanation of how we got here, it was never intended to be a moral track. It tells NOTHING of how we should live. Nature is callous, that does not mean we should be.
And your comment "fleeced" pre-suposes that they saw this comming, which they did not. It also shows a contemptable hatred for human life. What you do is you set up safety nets so that people don't die on the streets.

Does it mean that we all become mass murderers? of course not! For instance people will generally strive to be nice and helpfull towards others: BECAUSE THIS HAS SURVIVAL VALUE... it can strengthen a community and facilitate survival...

I am not the one who said somone deserves to die for being caught up in Circumstances beyond their control.
Morality IS subjective. Its a purely artificial construct devised and re-evaulated by philosophers. Humans are no longer effected by natural selection anyway (besides maybe sexual selection), if there is a cold climate we don't evolve fur coats or blubber, we make jackets and insulated houses. The contributions of natural selection are insanely slow compared to human inventiveness.

No, we are not immune to nature. We just have something better to deal with it than natural selection. That something is called Technology. We are able to adapt a million times faster than Natural selection would allow. Hell, we can even now adjust our genes faster thanks to genetic engineering.
In eight thousand years, humans have gone from a creature which existed inside an existing enviroment to one which shapes it. The development of civilization came from technology, not natural selection

Beavers also "shape" their environment but also pursue a path of evolution. The development of civilization come from the evolution of the mental faculties THROUGH evolution: evolution is responsible for our capabilities at technology. not vice-versa...

We got where we were by evolution. What technology has removed is basically all natural evolutionary pressures, save for possibly alcohol resistance.
Beavers are not comprable, they don't invent new types of dams. Humans do, they invent and share new information. Diferences in Technology level have to do with social, political and economic circumstances, not genes.

not at all, you're completely ignorant of modern biology... different genes affect different mental faculties, different types and degrees of intelligence, different hormonal levels... and countless other gene based variations which DO effect potentialities for technology.
Evolutionary pressures still exist, usually societies who rely too much on technology to circumvent nature are dysgenic and eventually must come to grief (as ours will)

European Civilization had a high age while other nations had social problems, basically a reverse of the scenario between the fall of rome and about 1650 with Asian Civilization being far more advanced than Europe in most fields. Since the Meiji Restoration, Japan has been just as advanced (if not moreso) as the US and Europe. In asia, modernization is going along very well.
To Beleive that western civilization got to were it is now because of genetics is either idiocy or dogmatic Madness.

Technological development is a accumulative process. One can not simply take a chunk of iron ore and make a car. Technology is gradually refined from passed knowledge and needs a base to build it from and the right enviroment. If most people are illiterate peasants, an enviroment is hostile to the development of cities, a population is isolated from developments elsewere or governments are hostile to change, there will not be much technological development.

Technological development is more complex then mere cumulation of ideas and creations. It is the combination of a people's problem solving abilities and inventing ways of satisfying their needs (which may include weaponry, means of transportation etc).
Do all nations excel as well at creating technology? Look at sub saharan africa, where the first human communities came from, and notice the grotesque iniquity and almost complete lack of anything resembling technology for an answer.

Wrong, Modern theory is that Modern Humans emerged in Africa about 50,000 years ago, with a small population moving out of africa through the land bridge connecting africa to Eurasia. Relations with the Neanderthal are irrelevent.

No, disease made the development of cities inviable in Africa until recently because sub saharan africa is rife with deaseses. Disease made city development unviable in africa because any argegation of people too large became a biobomb. The boers faced the same process in colonizing inland south africa.

No. Cities are nessisary for civilization. It is in population centers you get specialized jobs not directly related to survival. The larger the cities, the more specialists and the greater the range and degree of specialization. Without cities, you can not get the degree of specialization required. You need cities for factories, universities and so forth. The greatest civilizations in history have been the most urban ones.
