I found this, through watching Weird Science, one of my favorite movies!! I love John Hughes and his style of writing. and I love the Porsche 928 in the movie! Now I'm addicted to this song, it sounds so good, I wish I could go back in a time machine!!
i didn t know that kim recorded this song. i was always thinking this was a Marilyn Martin song. Although i love Kim, i have to admit that Marilyns version is the better one..
@amelienoa It flaming isn't. Flat, completely without edge, just like her poor thing. No wonder she was swiftly forgotten about. Never knew Marilyn Martin had songs. She covered Stevie Nicks 'Sorcerer' & didn't do anything effective with that. This song is Kim's through and through. Marilyn who? Marilyn Monroe that's who, from one Love Blonde to another.
This is one of my all-time favorite Kim Wilde songs. Her sensual delivery of the lyrics and style is just HOT! ...This song would be recorded a year later by sexy blonde singer, Marilyn Martin(on her 1986 debut album). It's also here on YouTube---also a pretty good version in its own right (though, it's more pop sounding than Kim's edgier, rock version). Thanks for posting this!
Another Kim song that I didn't find instantly appealing at first but now I love the hell out of this song. Another superb and magical song by Kim Wilde. (So many magical songs by the amazing, beautiful, sexy, talented, and magical Kim Wilde!)
Fantastic! I can't stop listening to this. This ranks up there among Kim's best. Another song that has her famous mysterious sound to it. Her voice is beautiful and she is beautiful. I'm so in love with her! What a woman!
Majestic, masterful, understated, edgy, mysterious, eerie, all wrapped in a deliciously spell-binding vocal. Kim was really too perfect musically between 1982-1986 and this long forgotten towering sparkler is up there with the very best. Wish she'd remember it and perform it some 'time'.
he used to like a girl named Lisa... she kicked him in the nuts.

This is one of Wilde's best ever songs. Yet it didn't appear on any of her albums. Go figure....

I remember hearing this song in the scene where Lisa was driving Gary & Wyatt to the bar. The '80s ruled!

Glorious rendering! Tune, arrangement, but particularly Kim's glamour vocal.
