Well, I've been working on a mod for hl2 myself. All the maps are finished, the storyline is complete, all renders have worked out perfectly and the game is up and running on my home laptop. That took me, alone, less time to do than these morons took to make a fucking teaser trailer. Well done boys.
Lets face it. "Project Kursed" is dust. I'm going to release my mod, which is the Kursed storyline btw, as soon as I can be bothered. Maybe I'll put it on Steam? Oh, yes. I have voice acting too.

It's only Starfox 64 3DS. They need to make a Starfox for the Wii. Using the Wiimote to control the arwings would be amazing. Maybe have two seperate controling methods, either use standard button pressing to move or hold the Wiimote like you are actually piloting the arwing. But I'm not going to hold my breath.

Well, about 90% of fangames end up this way, only really popular franchices like Zelda get good fangames. It's sad Nintendo feels the need to discontinue the starfox storyline. Stumbled upon this project couple of days ago. Looks like another "mod" where developers are swapping engines, uploading concept art and making vacuous trailes rather then developing the actual game. And trailer itself. No gameplay footage, cutscenes, even screenshots, just giant HL2 logo (though it's UT3 already), rain on black screen and someone's bad voice-acting - obviously these people have never played Max Payne.
Death of such mods is just a matter of time. Thumbs up goes to sharker1234.
@fccoper I say this again, the project is basically starting over on UDK. If you wish, look us up on ModDB. I am heading it now, and already it is showing many signs of progress it wasn't showing before.
Note that this game is now under new leadership: me. We are starting from square one again on a different engine with new people who I have worked with before who are really good, even possibly the person who made the first non-Epic Games fully rigged working UDK model. So stay tuned for any information.
@Mincho1994 In one of the endings of Star Fox Command, Star Wolf saves the Lylat system and so everyone is laughing and pointing their fingers at Krystal because they thought that she was a traitor. Krystal couldn't take it anymore and left Star Wolf. She left to another galaxy and becomes a bounty hunter (like Captain Falcon) and changes her name to Kursed. Apparently during one of Fox's missons on planet Kew, he meets Krystal (Kursed) there but...he doesn't reconize her at all.
I feel bad, because this would've been a good mod. But this is also a reason on why you need to screen the people you allow to join your mod team. I heard everyone was just fucking around doing nothing because they had zero experience, and because of that one of the best men on your team left. That sucks. They need to make an official Starfox game for the Wii. Paying for it is worth it since Nintendo can at least finish what they start.
@ Any one who has asked "What's with the Half-Life 2 symbol?" I'm guessing it has something to do with Source. Like Black Mesa and Missing Information, this uses the HL2 symbol to signify the abformentioned engine.

No one knows exactly. There are rumors all over the place for its continuity, and if it were canon, no one has even remotely any idea which ending Nintendo will opt for (if it doesn't try combining them either).
Like I mean for instance, based on some of the stuff that we know from later Star Fox games, Star Fox 64's easy mode path (ie the "bad" ending) would be closer to canon than the hard mode path (who would guess that?). In EM path, no Wolfen 2s, Andross isn't completely dead etc...
The "bad" ending actually is not closer to canon. Andross did "die" in the Lylat Wars, although he was able to preserve himself in the Krazoa Spirits waiting for revival. The Wolfen IIs are most certainly canon as well, although that's their only appearence. The thing with them was that they were highly expensive to produce, due to the hightened reactivity of the fighter and needing neural implants to pilot them.
Andross could very well be "dead" in Star Fox 64s "bad ending," but him laughing in the distance leaves room for him to be planning something. . There's far less confusion that way. It also makes Andross's "you lose again McCloud" line from Adventures make sense. He's "dead" at the end in the bad "ending."
Wolfen II being canon does not make much sense. Not only are they never referenced again, but even the new Wolfens look nothing like them. Not to mention oddities like Cyborg Leon...

That is beautiful. So sad, too. Sometimes I hate Fox for putting her through all that. Poor Krystal. But then, I remember that he does end up taking her back in, which I hope to God is the series canon. I got frustrated( and scared shitless) in the first episode...
^^; I only played for five hours or so...and didn't really get very far...
I should start playing again...but I'm at the area...where you got warped to the wrong destination...and then you have to find protection...in the sewers...I believe...

That is beautiful. So sad, too. Sometimes I hate Fox for putting her through all that. Poor Krystal. But then, I remember that he does end up taking her back in, which I hope to God is the series canon. Don't get me wrong; love to hear about Star Fox 3.0 (led by their son, Marcus), but you can't beat the original.

I got frustrated( and scared shitless) in the first episode...
^^; I only played for five hours or so...and didn't really get very far...
I should start playing again...but I'm at the area...where you got warped to the wrong destination...and then you have to find protection...in the sewers...I believe...
