I never claimed that Here Comes the Kraken was mine. I haven't spent a lot of time listening to death metal, so yeah, I'm a noob. Dying Fetus doesn't sound much different to me from Here Comes the Kraken except for how the drummer doesn't sound like he's killing the drums, and the vocalists don't sound human. Meshuggah... meh, nothing special. They'd work as background music. I usually listen to bands like Billy Talent, NOFX, The Descendants, etc.

@zSliz1 (Nine members) Every band has there flaws. I don't listen to a lot of Avenged Sevenfold or Papa Roach. But are you just sayin that because of their style as opposed to their music? Slipknot's gone soft, I'm not a fan of their later stuff. My Chemical Romance hates emo, they just don't realize that they look the part sometimes. Green Day, ugh, I hate where they're goin (Eye liner, gelled hair, black clothes, show boating, etc). What's your definition of "good music" then?

I never claimed that Here Comes the Kraken was mine. I haven't spent a lot of time listening to death metal, so yeah, I'm a noob. Dying Fetus doesn't sound much different to me from Here Comes the Kraken except for how the drummer doesn't sound like he's killing the drums, and the vocalists don't sound human. Meshuggah... meh, nothing special. They'd work as background music. I usually listen to bands like Billy Talent, NOFX, The Descendants, etc.

I just brought up Here Comes the Kraken because someone else told me it was the heaviest thing they heard, so I tried it. And I didn't say that I didn't like the inhuman sounding vocals. I don't limit myself to just metal, or in your case, death metal

@zSliz1 I Just thought I'd let you know, the fact you listen to "Death Metal" doesn't mean your any cooler. It just means you like listening to completely moronic music that sounds as though people are choking rather then making music. Me personally, I play in a band that we write music that has no genre restrictions. I play what makes me feel good and if that happens to be Slayer or Mastadon, fine but if it resorts to playing Garth Brooks. FUCK YEAH! So in closing, I must say you are a douche.

@zSliz1 Why can't you just accept the fact that no one thinks the same thing here and get over it? Does rediculing other peoples opinion of music and telling them they're not heavy enough make you feel better? I'd love to see you up on stage in front of people playing "Death Metal" and doing in heavy enough to your standards because then I would believe you. But till then, we'll play music that is heavy enough for us and like it and you can be "heavier" then us. We honestly don't give a fuck.

@zSliz1 You think we're ignorant? You only like a certain kind of music. I don't mind death metal. I prefer a mix of screaming, singing, and maybe a little bit of rapping rather than just growling. Our music goes by more than one genre. If anything, you're being the ignorant one. My favorite genre's punk, but that doesn't mean that I'll only listen to that and criticize anything that's not punk. You sure paused a lot too. I bet you're REAL confident in what you say.
