Hmm... I tried this without getting the Bag from the Bowling Alley, and it put Bombs on C-Down, but they were set to 0. I tried assigning 29 Bombs with RBA as a child first, but it behaved the same way as arrows without a quiver (1 shot then it zeros out). Any idea what went wrong? Do I need to have the same items equipped? I didn't have Deku Nuts (had Slingshot instead), and it left C-Left blank.

You can get bombchu from spirit temple as a child or from bottom of the well with one of my tricks what is on my youtube page. when you get bombchus use them to beat dodongo's cavern.

you don't need any cheats. you can easily beat child portion without bombs

you get bombchus early in the spirit temple or in the bottom of the well. you can get to both of those places as kid link with handy glitches.
