This video makes me realise how lucky I am. I have cf i've had a lung transplant and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, if you can have one go for it! I also have a heart problem which meant in 2004 I had to have a heart transplant too. Because of some of the drugs i've been taking and some other problems my kidney function has been decreasing so i am now on peritoneal dialysis while I wait for a transplant. I've got wonderful friends and family to support me, but there is hope xx

I had a friend in highschool during the late eighties that had CF he lived to be 25 (died sept 99) he toched so many lives and accomplished so many goals in horse training success. His memorial was at the pretty penny ranch in scottsdale AZ(since been torn down) and was attented by hundreds. I am sorry for your loss and god bless you.

My friend's granddaughters were both just diagnosed with C.F. The 10 year old has a much more severe case than the 6 year old. Both had been treated for years for asthma, as that is what the doctor "thought" they had. Yes, public awareness needs to be raised about this horrible disease.

heyy! im sarah and im 12 years old and i have cf. i hate it cause of all the meds. i have to take! i was resontal in the hostpital and had to have a tube down m thorth to put some kind of luiged to help me. I had a friend in highschool during the late eighties that had CF he lived to be 25 (died sept 99) he toched so many lives and accomplished so many goals in horse training success. His memorial was at the pretty penny ranch in scottsdale AZ(since been torn down) and was attented by hundreds. I am sorry for your loss and god bless you.

i cry when i see things like this because i have cf too, i am 22 and have learned over the years, though i dont know wonderful people like ms vece, that i still feel a connection to the ones we loose, and i still cry for them. Only thing im happy for is shes no longer suffering and is walking with the lord now.

My friend's granddaughters were both just diagnosed with C.F. The 10 year old has a much more severe case than the 6 year old. Both had been treated for years for asthma, as that is what the doctor "thought" they had. Yes, public awareness needs to be raised about this horrible disease.
To Kaityn's family and friends I extend my sincerest condolences. Such a beautiful young girl that had her life cut so short.

There is a great project to increase DONOR AWARENESS that ends Septemebr 1, 2008. American Express (credit card company) will fund the project with the most votes and I would LOVE for it to be the DONOR AWARENESS project.
It was written by an 18 yr old girl that received a transplant and is living with CF cystic fibrosis.
GOOGLE IT. It is called Member Project "Second Chances" Mobile Organ Donation Awareness.
Please VOTE FOR IT, pass the word to everyone and increase DONOR AWARENESS!
