Sounds sweet. I have the same amp and a 12AT7 somewhere. I'll give it a shot, even though I don't have any pedals. I also have a 12AU7 I could try, have you tried it ?
Nice vid Gonceman! Ya got her dead right, (old school) set her up for stellar clean tones, and use pedals to add dirt! Best all around tones that way. AND Yours are great!
You can probably use it for rehearsals if your drummer can keep a lid on his volume. Otherwise, and for gigs, if you mic it up it should be fine. It is certainly louder with the 12Ax7, but I really prefer the semi-clean tones you get with the 12AT7.
great head for recording sounds so warm in a small room with a sennhiezer mic on it, this head is gold when paired with a vox cabinet awesome. peace
