  • Krauss used to be so beautiful. Here she looks like a plastic surgery doll. What happened? Is she just having a bad day or are all those photos of her just the work of photoshop?

  • I've never listened to Alison's music, but I do now! I will forever LOVE Robert Plant and everything he does!!!

  • I though it was John Bonham dying that led to Robert Plant to not want to be in Led Zeppelin. What an asshole....selfishly dying like that. They got back for a few charity gigs.....leave it at that. He dosnt want to do that anymore...leave him alone. When you have a quarter of the shit happen to you that happened to him the last 5 years of zeppelin, let me know if you are still the same person.

  • I agree. I wish Robert would perform with Zeppelin but I respect his opinions and decisions.

  • god jul

  • god jul

  • HAHAHA Alison!! "Who else could convince me to sing lines that start with "Once I had myself a good woman" " LOL!!

  • Robert's words at the beginning are so him! It could be lyrics for a Zep song! Go Robert! :)

  • It's magical threads that make a cloak for the Lion to wear in his kingdom!!!Thay "ALL" are the magical threads...

  • Plant still looks like a Viking chieftain, even when he's wearing bifocals. Some people are just born cool.

  • I think he looks good with glasses :D

  • You are elequint, could NOT say it better then you did thank you ;)

have loved this man for 30 years...

  • That was a very nice tribute from both of them, the three of them have re awakened music from the dreggs of mediocracy. The speech was obviously littered with inside jokes so I for one think they wrote it themselves. Looks like Robert has found his muse(s) again. Lucky for us.

  • Folks....It's about T-Bone. We love Robert and Alison, that's a given. Don't spend time pondering about authors..but pay attention to the content about the man who takes greatness and makes the sum even greater than the parts.

  • Well, I do think T bone is an admirable character and totally deserves this award. But..I find it interesting to see what about a person inspires admiration in whom and why!

So I will spend time pondering on what interests me most thanks! ;) Don't need to ponder on why he got this award or what he said in his acceptance speech because I've done that already and admire and agree with what T bone said! :)

  • LOL I love it! They both looked like they had fun with it. I love how Alison laughed when he called her the bluegrass princess :P

  • That is not meant as sarcasm btw. I am seriously asking. Does anyone know they wrote it or was it like with the Oscars and ceremonies like that, some writer wrote it for them?

  • I wouldn't be surprised to know that Robert wrote his part. He actually talks like that, lol.

  • Doesn't he just! I think they probably wrote it together but I wondered if anybody knows for sure! :)

  • Knowing Robert's speaking and writing style, he surely wrote his part.

  • Uhm...any fairly decent writer could write something in his speaking style. Especially since it is pretty distinctive!

I am also 85% sure they did write it themselves.

The question went to fact though. Like somebody involved with the awards show might know whether people wrote their own speeches?

No offense to anybody but however sure any outside listener might be, that is still an opinion. I was looking for a fact! :)

Anyway...not really important so never mind all! Thanks though!

  • Good speech! I'd love to know who wrote it?
