  • Hello! Have you tried Immortelle Very Precious Eye Serum from L'Occitane? It's awesome! It's not too expensive. It keeps the dry skin around my eyes moisturised all day, with out causing irritation.

    Enjoyed the vid

  • I was suffering from very dry and patchy skin underneath my eyes (I couln't even use concealer), and then I found, by accident, the Ultra Rich Eye Balm from L'Occitane! By skin is now baaaaby smooth and comfortable!! =D

  • do you recommend any kiehl's eye cream that works on hydration and treat fine lines?

  • ur so right about the products for differnet things not do with you, like for someone like me 21 with no deep set lines on my face trying anti wrinkle cream is just not gonna happen cos its not gonna work on me at all like it would for a 70 old heffa haha

    xx

  • I really enjoyed this. I'd love to see an updated skincare overview. :-)

  • queen helene mint julep mask LITERALLY shrinks my pores, haha... maybe you should try it (but i'm sure you already have since everyone has it =])

  • do you ever use shue uemura cleanser tea(green one) ???i hear this brand have great result for dry skin ,..

  • love your videos, you're so down to earth and real!

  • i have really dry skin too!

  • i have that cleanser!

  • my skin is very dry too! :(

  • my gosh you use alot of products lol i was wondering could it be eczema on your face my 18 year old daughter has it on her face and only just recently we have found a cream/gel called doublebase you get it of your doctor its not greasy or oily and it just absorbs into the skin and its excellent i have eczema on other parts of my body and its been great if u cant get it let me know and i'll send u one if your interested x

  • foxycleox: Well I don't use them all at once. :)

  • lol yeah i know i just thought i could help if it was eczema xx

  • I use the Bliss toner too and I must say that I think it's awesome too! It makes my skin feel so good. I have to make myself stop applying it. I also use a lot of products from the skin genesis line and it's easily becoming my new favorite. I have all the products except for the pore smoother. I just got the clinique eye cream too but haven't been using long enough to love it or hate it yet.

  • do you use a separte make up remover or do you just use your face wash to take off your make up?

  • i have extremely dry skin too u should really try paula's choice skincare stuff esp. the hydrating treatment cream as a moisturizer because it has been the only that has worked for me :)

  • yay :) thank you!

  • could you maybe do a reveiw on revlon colorstay foundation? sorry if you have already done this one, i did look but i don't know if i looked in the right places :/ yes - i am a technical idiot :(

  • ugh my skin is really frustrating , its super dry but its also oily and it has break-outs lol taking care of that is super hard and everytime i use an acne medication it irritates my skin and makes it worse ...=(

  • you probably have combination skin, you can use products directed for "combination" skin. Try using lotion that is oily free. Also, if you don't use any kind of moisturizer and too much acne medication, your skin can react by producing more oil...hoped that helped :-)

  • USE MOISTURIZER!

it seems that you have oily skin that way too dehydrated from cleanser and acne treatments, use an oil free but very hydrating moisturizer that doesn't contain acne medication in it. (try cetaphil) and then try to use acne medications in moderation, but don't forget to MOISTURIZE!

  • cowyikes: I'll be posting a review of this which should answer all of your questions. :)

  • you should try estee lauder's idealist -- it helps minimize pores and makes your face really smooth. it's a really great product.

  • your skin is GORGEOUS!!! and i love love you without make up i think you look beautiful :)

  • You rock, girl! Your laugh is infectious!

    :-)

  • so true.. her laugh always makes me chuckle...this was a very informational video

  • you have really nice skin :) I really enjoy your videos...I got inspired to post my own videos :)

  • Can you please review Maybelline Mineral Power foundation? please

  • I really love your videos. Thanks for sharing your experience! =)

    xx

  • Hey, great video! Does the Kiehl's Facial Cleanser take your makeup off or do you use a separate makeup remover? If so, which one? Thanks so much!

  • lalalalois: The Kiehl's cleanser takes it all off. I only use an eye makeup remover to take off my waterproof mascara and/or waterproof liner.

  • I REALLY wish I could go shopping with you at the navy exchange! lucky.

  • i love your videos! i watch these as a small breaks from studying. you are wonderful!

  • omg i always watch her while i do my biology homework:)

  • yeah same

im supposed to be writing my english essay

but ive been writting for an hour.... and i figured it's time for youtube :D

  • I'm so glad I'm not the only youtube addict. I don't know what's worse: being a youtube or a makeup addict. Well, makeup is expensive and youtube is free so there's my answer I suppose.

  • hahahahahaha!!

i understand perfectly about your addiction

lol im only 13 and im watching make up stuff... not that i wear any make up at all... i just think it's fun to take my mind off stuff

:D i dont even tell my best friend about my addiction cause she doesn't like make up and says it makes her look emo.....

  • But YouTube causes us to buy more so it's a death circle :D

  • Could you do a review of the Kiehl's Ultra facial cream please? Also, have you tried their tinted moisturiser?

I saw it in the shop today, and need a tinted moisturiser. I saw your review on the Shiseido tinted moisturiser that you use and it looks good, but the shops near me that sell Shiseido products, don't seem to sell the Tinted Moisturiser for some reason. Many Thanks!

  • Ahhhh I just bought like $400 worth of Murad for $12 at a Bath and Body Works employee sale. Can't wait to try it.

  • What is a navy exchange? I want one!

  • holly1324: Unless you're in the military or a military dependent, it's of no use to you. :)

  • That's what it's for?

No sarcasm intended, but I've been going for ten years [I'm 16] with my mom and never knew what it was for. :/

Oh my. So I learned something non-makeup related from you :)

    Thanks.

[I'm not this dur dur in real life. I just had oral surgery and am still a little loopy from it...]

  • what are you talking about?

  • this is totally unrelated to skincare but have u tried any of the urban decay pocket rocket lipglosses? if u have cud u please do a review!

  • Nice glasses!

  • Very informative. (:

Do you use a toner before moisturizing, or afterwards?

  • it should always be before...

so it should look something like this

    1. cleanse

    2. tone

    3. moisturize

and on some days exfoliate and indulge in a mask once or twice a week.

    :D

  • Sounds good. Thank you!

  • Thank you so much for doing this video. This was actually realy helpful cause i have VERY dry skin too. Love all of your vids and reviews. you are the awesome-ist of awesom-ist people ever. :)

  • my skin is dry one day and oily the next.

  • i love the origins modern friction.i use it on my feet sometimes.

  • I have super dry skin too. I am on a strict budget so I use Cetaphil. Amazing quality stuff. And I use Neutragena's Alcohol free toner also...Cetaphil doesnt have a toner.

  • Did anyone know that L'oreal is owned by Lancome? So it's not surprising to me that out of all the drugstore makeup I've used, L'oreal has given me the best luck! Check out their H.I.P line. IT's the JAM!

  • Miss Reney, if you have the time, could you do a review of the BLISS no more baggage eye gel? I wuv wu verwy mwuch! ( and your videos! keep up the good work chica!)

  • Hiya,

Very usefull video, you explained everything realy well :-) I was just wondering ..; When do you put the L'oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Skin Resmoother on? Before moisturizing, after,....? You're videos are all realy honest and well explained ;-)

  • parodybarbiegirl: I thought I mentioned it in the video (but I may not have) that I apply this before my moisturizer. :)

  • do you know if elf eyeshadows fit into a mac pallete or vise versa? also whats a good drugstore cleanser for dry skin?

  • "I am not Google"

    lolz!

  • I highly recommend oliveoil for the undereye section!! it gives your skin so many great things, keep it smooth and improves fine wrinkles...I use it to remove my eye-make up!

  • my mom uses olive oil too....it makes her skin look beautiful.

  • Loved your review.

A suggestion, if your skin is dry and you have to be careful with toners, you should check out Witch Hazel. :) It's natural and fresh.

  • I have very dry skin as well. I use cetaphil for cleanser and I really like the neutrogena alcohol free toner.

  • I freaking LOVEEEEEE MAC tendertone in "Softnote"! :) I just found a bunch at my CCO...I bought 2 backups of those and then three others... lol.

  • I have very dry skin. I would recommend you try the sephora dry skin toner, makeup remover & cleanser. They are suprisingly great very creamer & works well with sensitive skin. Plus its on sale for only $4-5 . Great value!

  • loreal hydrafresh toner is really nice and alcohol free...like the only drugstore alcohol free toner

  • can you review philosophy's purity made simple?

  • For those who are looking for a toner that contains no alcohol, you might want to try L'Oreal's Hydrafresh toner. It's a pink liquid; I've found it at Walmart and Walgreens. Check out L'oreal's website for a location near you.

  • i love the murad cleanser!

  • you have the most beautiful skin ever :)

  • Wonderful and so informative.

I've been switching up my skincare a lot lately and I think I've finally found a system (all different brands) that my skin is loving.

I'm going to send you a PM because I know what can help with your red tender skin.

  • my skin is red and tender too, and nothing seems to do the trick

    help please?

  • julykasa: I'm glad you found this useful. :)

The red areas of my skin aren't tender, just dry and sometimes a bit itchy. I think I have it under control for the most part.

  • can you do a review on the Loreal Skin Genisis? thanks :)

  • Pinkiecharm, when you say really dry do you mean your skin, without any skincare, would tend to peel? Because I have dry skin that if I don't use moisturizer would likely get really flaky and ew disgusting.

  • oSuperDaphneo: I wouldn't say it peels but it does get kinda flaky.

  • the good thing about the youthtopia is that a little goes a long way. :)

  • thank you so much leesamaffia, I've just learned a new word! = )

  • I also got the clinique all about eyes eyecream but not the rich formula. This works well for me, because I've been using the boyshop aloe eye defence eyecream and this eyecream doesn't work for me AT ALL. My eyelids started to get really dry and got a lot of flake of skin on my eyelids. Could you imagine how dry my eyelids became when I was using the bodyshop aloe eye defence eyecream? Since that I'm using the all about eyes eyecream from clinique my eyelids feels a lot better.

  • What happend to your carmex lip balm?? I started using it because of you and I loved it....

  • antdog23951: I used it up! :)

  • Great video! I've found that Avon's under eye treatments really work. I especially like the ageless results under eye cream and I concur Marky Kay's firming eye cream really does rock out!

  • whats a toner used for? P.S. great video!

  • it gets rid of black heads and firms the skin a little

well it does for me any way

    hope that helps

  • A toner is to remove any remaining cleanser left on your face, tighten your pores and close them, and restore your PH balance to the proper number.

  • 4.5 :-)

  • can u please review mac lipglass in virgin kiss?

  • this is really random, but u look like my teacher ms. heeseman. and i want to say that she probably watches ur videos and emulates your style because she recently got the same haircut and she wears makeup now. :D anyway, i love your videos and i think i've watched all of them

  • what do you say at the end of your videos? "I'll do my best to answer to your your questions as quickly and ... as possible" ?? I can't understand that word!! = )

  • thoroughly

  • thanks for a great video! We have a few counters (clinique, etc) at our post exchange, and I can get in trouble there!

  • i bought Olay Definity Night Cream

and OMG i have only been using it for a week, and foundation on my skin is no longer needed

my skin was redish, and patchy in some areas and this baby made my skin look like a porcelain doll

im only 19, but i was having some issues with my skin, i think you should try it, but its 25$, but worth every penny

    thanks for the review!

  • Bliss's peeling groovy serum is the only thing I ever used that I thought shrank pores. Try it sometime it awesome. Thanks for the review! ☺ I want to try that origins stuff!

  • lmao the video froze at 10:12 :L

  • Could you explain what a " navy exhange" is. I don't think we have them here (Netherlands).

    Love the video's :-)

  • beerzzz: No there wouldn't be any in the Netherlands as the US Navy has no bases there. :) The Navy Exchange is a store opened only to US military, usually the Navy as they are located on Navy bases.

  • The comoft on call allergy releif cream is probably the best moisturizer IVE tried, its sooo rich and thick like butter. i keep mine in te fridge because i feel that it goes bad after a while if i dont.

  • you actually can shrink pores if you use a retinol.. i use philosophy's "help me" treatment, and my pores are pretty invisible now.

sometimes the problem when people have big pores is that their pores actually have stuff in them deep down that is prying them open.. so for viewers with congested skin and big pores, it may not be 2 separate problems.

  • whatthedeuce87: Well I never said I had big pores. *lol* I bought the L'Oreal product mainly for its smoothing capability but thanks for the tip.

  • oh don't worry, i wasn't talking about you per se. i was just responding where you said its not possible to shrink pores. i mean really- your skin looks perfect in your videos.

  • Does the Mary Kay eye cream help with dark circles? I also have the Clinique All About Eyes eye cream and I wasn't too thrilled about it either. =\

  • wow, you have the perfect skin right now for talking about skin care... it looks so fresh and radiant! :) i haven't tried any of these products, usually my skin is pretty oily, but it's going through a dry spell at the moment so i might have to check some of these products out. thanks so much for this video :)

  • Hi Pinkie!

I have real dry skin like you and I was wondering if u could recommend a FULL coverage foundation for people with real dry skin.

    Thanks a bunch!

  • 134710134710: Honestly I have no clue as I rarely wear foundation.

  • have you tried revlon colour stay?

  • I prefer not to use drugstore ingridients on my skin...not to sound conceded I am just too scared to use it...LOL.

    Thanks for the advice!

  • thanks for making this video. it sounds like we have similar skin types so i definitely want to try the bliss toner.

a really great cleanser for dry/sensitive skin is purity by philosophy. it is incredibly gentle, removes all my makeup (face and eyes), and leaves my skin incredibly smooth. you can get a 3.5oz bottle from sephora for 10 dollars and it should last you quite a bit.

  • how long did Youthtopia last for you???

i ve a sampleand holy cow it s wonderful but yes,it s spendy a looot but wanna know form you. thanls

  • i know i know you r not using ORIGINS's products....but what r u hearing about them???? please share a lil' if you know something

    thanks

  • This was a really helpful video! I just wanted to recommend two products to you. First, I also have very red and itchy skin at times, and I love to use the Azulene Calming Mask by Mario Badescu. It's not too expensive and it really soothes my skin and restores a suppleness to it. Also, for an alcohol free toner, try "Thayer's Natural Remedies." They have different types like rose petal and aloe vera. I get mine at natural food stores. Hope this helps!

  • @londonlady07 have you tried Mario Badescu's silver powder at all? I saw another video on it but I would like to know if its a good product. thanks!

  • Pikadilie: I have not used the silver powder, but I've always wanted to try it. I hear it's a great way to get rid of blackheads. Unfortunately, they don't offer any samples of this product, so you have to buy the whole thing. I do highly recommend all their products though. They are a very nice quality but not over the top expensive, so I'd say give it a try :)

  • pinkiecharm---i luv ur vdos...u r fun n very sweet---also ur vdos r detailed (most of the other review vdos i have seen r not so detailed n useful)...so keep up the vdo...thank u again!

  • im so glad you did a skincare video! because you have such good skin that theres no need for buying a bunch of foundation, etc. thanks for showing us, i was curious btw. that sounds kind of creepy lol

  • thanks for ur overviews!

  • can u review the st ives apricot scrub? it says its for all skin types so it would probally be best for everyonee.

  • peytonboo123: I have used it and it's too harsh for my skin.

  • oh ok sorry.

  • the regular apricot scrub is an ok product but do not use it if you have dry skin because it can make it worse, I found that the gentle version is much better for your skin, and not as drying if you have sensitive skin like I do.

  • you said youre doing review of facial sunscreens, and a few days ago the Dallas Morning News did an article ranking some::

1Olay regenerist UV defense SPF 15

2 Neutrogena Healthy Skin Visibly Even Daily SPF 15 Moisturizer

3Good Skin All bright Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 30

4Clinique City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector SPF 25

5 Avon Ageless results renewing Day cream SPF 15

I know you said you had no where to start so maybe that gives you somewhere? Hope it was some help

  • Maybe you can find a friend or someone with oily and combo skin/acne prone skin to test the products since you are doing the reviews and i think it would benefit other people with those problems....and see if it works for that person...Just a thought.

  • Thanks for the overview, and I love Clinique. :)

  • lol it's funny because I have combination skin on my face but my legs are so incredibly dry. It looks like I seriously have scales on my legs with white flakes coming off.

  • How do you know if a toner has alcohol in it? Because I have toner from Estee Lauder and it doesn't say what the ingredients are. Does anyone know?

  • xcgurl08: You should be able to get the information from their website. If not, contact them.

  • Use philosophy hope in a tube for eye cream... ITS AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT!!

  • yeah people ask me a lot about my skin and I have to say, everyone is so different and I don;t do anything special..

  • Have you tried any of the cetaphil skincare products? Could you do reviews on the ones for your skintype? Thanks for this video =)

  • If you find something to get rid of redness PLEASE let me know..I have it in the exact same areas

  • green concealer ;]

  • IrishLooks: Are you looking for a skincare product or cosmetic? I like using Benefit's Boi-ing to cover any redness, as well as Clinique's Redness Solutions Mineral Powder.

  • how do you use the mineral powder?!

    omg. i hated it.

it never worked till i packed it on my face and i looked white and chalky. and when i touch my face it wipes off as white.

    UGGH.

    love your videos :D

  • can you review the toner you use?

  • I get oily in the "T" ZONE and dry everywhere else, and my skin is very sensitive... and acne pron!!! ahhh I HATE MY SKIN,,,

  • thx for the infos, love yr vids!

  • hey! could you please review the loreal pore minimizing resmoother? thanks!

  • Why

  • I have one thing to ask you could you take a couple pictures of all of the makeup you have I am just chorious of how much you really have P.S I really love your videos

  • she recently did a makeup collection.

  • Irene did a collection video a month or so ago, have a look at her previous videos. :)

  • do l'loreal skin products work? michelle phan saids they suck...

  • avasephora: I did mention that I happened to really like the one product I'm using but since it's the only one I've used, I couldn't say about the rest of them.

  • You have amazing skin :)

  • you're so lucky to have good skin.

  • awesome thanks for sharing! love ur vids~
