From what I understand no one in the Gardasil studies got cervical cancer during the study, but no one who hadn't been vaccinated had cervical cancer either. And you'd have to follow the women for the rest of their lives to know if they ended up with it. They don't even know if the women had been exposed to HPV. Oh yeah, it HPV's never been conclusively proven to cause cervical cancer. And guess what else? The vaccine was never tested on girls only older women. Given all that, why take it?

The only way to eliminate cervical cancer is with annual pap smears. The vaccine does not create immunity for enough strains of HPV, nor for a long enough time.

Dont just take it just beacuse someone said it prevents hpv or cancer, when you have no evidence of that, and they probally dont have evidence of that ether, but you DO have evidence of bad side effects caused from the vaccine, or illnesses or death that occured very shortly after the vaccine, there is probally about a 99-100% chance that the vaccine caused the adverse reactions.

From what I understand no one in the Gardasil studies got cervical cancer during the study, but no one who hadn't been vaccinated had cervical cancer either. And you'd have to follow the women for the rest of their lives to know if they ended up with it. They don't even know if the women had been exposed to HPV. Oh yeah, it HPV's never been conclusively proven to cause cervical cancer. And guess what else? The vaccine was never tested on girls only older women. Given all that, why take it?

My son was not so lucky, he went limp and turned blue several hours after getting the hep B vaccine. CNN are trying to be fair, but it shows badly they are covering their Big Pharma's sponsors. There's a big conflict of interest. A new study (paid by them) to whitewash any responsibility regarding any adverse effect, in the meantime we will continue to administer the vaccine to 12 years-old girls. If they were really serious about health risks, they would have stopped for safety concerns and hire an independent long-term study. They would still make lots of profit anyway.

CNN are trying to be fair, but it shows badly they are covering their Big Pharma's sponsors. There's a big conflict of interest. A new study (paid by them) to whitewash any responsibility regarding any adverse effect, in the meantime we will continue to administer the vaccine to 12 years-old girls. If they were really serious about health risks, they would have stopped for safety concerns and hire an independent long-term study. They would still make lots of profit anyway.

The Bachmann/Gardasil controversy has me fired up! Gardasil IS dangerous and the media is making Bachmann look like an uneducated woman. I applaud her for speaking out! I wish people would stop acting like a herd of sheep, doing whatever their doctors and/or government tell them. Vaccines, child birth, the high percentage of c-section, doctors refusing to let women have a vaginal birth after c-section...the list is endless and it makes me sick that people don't use their own judgement.

Chronic infection with HPV is now called NECESSARY for cervical cancer, but additional behaviors or exposures are required like smoking, contraceptive use, nutritional deficiencies, stress, immune suppression/impairment

@suze25luv All of my friends and lots of older friends have had these injections. They are fine, every single one and there are maybe 250 girls in my year and over that throughout my school. Some of the older friends have even had healthy children. There is nothing to worry about. Each to their own opinions about this jag but most of this just seems like scare-mongering. Everyone I know has not had any sort of bad reactions to it.

@ClairexFowler, Merck is USA's Glaxo, matching or exceeding the sociopathic behavior of your biggest drug pusher. Merck knew Vioxx was killing people in 1996 BEFORE the FDA approved it. They hid deaths from journal publishers, reported false conclusions to the FDA, created a fake journal
While it murdered it's customers Merck professionally threatened researchers who exposed Vioxx deaths in journals like JAMA
With Gardasil they lied & bribed to get our most expensive vax to market. READ
