  • Great song, BOOORING video. Did they make it boring on purpose or something?

  • Go watch Britney video then & listen this song with it. :) She has interesting videos, don't you think?

  • @dimension777 It was the early 90's, so all MTV had to do to make us happy was give us a rock video that didn't include Warrant, Guns and Roses, or Whitesnake or any band resembling them and we were cool with it.

  • This video contains every image from a "grunge" video from the '90s: abandoned buildings in a forest, abandoned rusted vehicles, the shorts/Chuck Taylor fashion combo, the long hair... It's like a time capsule.

  • besides those random screenshots

  • 2009 the year of GRUNGE !!!!

  • So good to see fat people rocking too!

couldn't agree more! gives the rest of us rockin' fat guys hope! he looks a lot like a guitar player I knew back in the '80's, but i know it's not him.

  • vote for charles webster baer for president of earth

  • They play beautifully.

Not crazy about the visuals of this video though.

Still, 5 stars for the song.

  • Damn, will YouTube ever work with Firefox? I was replying to someone on page 5!

  • great song *-*

  • This Video was filmed in Ellensburg,WA. The Band's hometown. Great FN song!

  • in saugus like north of boston???? this band did not get enough credit! and hey ass hole about the drummer comment, the drums fit the music, you must be young and stupid to say somthing like that, not every song needs to be a competition or slug fucking slam solo....it's music....stupid enjoy it!

  • grunge ftw :)

  • It just dawned on me this video was filmed down the street from my old house in Saugus. LMAO

  • God Praise mark lanegan hes a legend with queens and with the screaming trees hes a ledge, him and chris cornell are best ever.

  • Barrett Martin on drums and Mark Lanegan Guitar and Vox. Man I'd kill to play with those guys.

  • Rock and Roll is coming back, you guys have a new fan, this song is so simple and catchy.

  • vivan los arboles ¡¡¡

  • That drummers awesome!

  • He is definitely a bad, bad man

  • coming this week to Xbox Live and Playstation Network as a downnloadable Rock Band track. :)

  • this song would go great with the drums, is it on psn?

  • Mark Lanegan's new band "the Gutter Twins" is good, but not nearly as good as this.

  • great fucking voice

  • i love this song and all the 90's grunge, i'm starting to sound like my dad "todays music is rubbish" "the modern ones have no talent" etc, it's scary

  • thats how i feel im 21 and musics already past its prime. I'm mean what is this emo screamo shit nowadays?

  • I know right! Tho good music is still out there today you just hafta search for it. some indie rock is good

  • yeah but im usually searching the past. i mean every once in awhile ill hear something by 3dg or bands like that i hear on the local rock station but i just cant find myself buying their cds.

  • I Love This Video

    Im A Teenager Living In

a 35 yr Old Grunge Lovers Body

    Hahah

  • i'm 35 lol gah i miss my grunge\90's music days lol nirvana, sound garden, better than ezra, screaming trees, school of fish, pearl jam, pj harvey, the nixons, local h, harvey danger, the stone roses. l8tr =)

  • I hear that...I'm 31 and this takes me back to days on campus....back when bands actually wrote their own songs??? =)

  • Justin Kelnhofer says this band fucking rocks and anyone says differnt they suck dick 90's grunge was the best era

  • 90's grunge was one in its own. This crap being produced now is usless. These musicians have no talent. They play what the producers want them to. MTV is about stupid teen soap opera crap. I'm so sick of seeing these glorified dorks that couldn't come close to the level of perfection from groups like Pearl Jam or Soundgarden.

  • no could say it better

  • i know exactly what you mean

  • Early 90's was the golden era of Alternative. Great song...reminds me of old days...thx for posting!

  • I love this band, and I love what songs Mark sings on QOTSA songs.

  • His voice sounds a little like kurts cobain´s

  • Words can't express how kick ass this song is!

  • what a voice, seriously.

  • This song is awesome...music isn't like this no more...things change and this like the only time that change isn't good cuz this time it wasnt for the better...If i die i wanna go back to the Grunge era...lol...welll Anyone listen to Mark Lanegans new stuff with Isobel Campbell...am i the only one!??!

  • Awesome recording job!

  • The 90's were fat, ugly, and rocked harder than any other decade in history!

  • not true not even close!70's owned rock with just for example led zepplin the who pink floyd skynard can go on and on

  • Ok, all those bands are great, but by 1976, a lot of people were saying rock had completely sold out. So then you had the influx of punk music created by the Sex Pistols, and immediately backed up by the Clash, the Ramones, and Patti Smith. These grunge bands had more in common with punk than stadium rock. Don't tell me about the 70's, brother.

  • Rock in the sixties was *underground* music. 1968-1972. After that, rock, like any art form, "matured" and moved main stream, soon after to be replaced by disco.

  • Licking good those tasty riffs.

    KINDA Psychadelic?

30's 60's 90's Apples pop and Good CIDAr.

    20's 50's 80's AllderGround pretext n sex.

Naughty's? erh yeah yeah yeah 'setc..

  • i wish music was as good now as it was then. this is a full on amazing track!!

  • I agree, there was less hip hop back then, that shit all sounds the same. Grunge was such a good era!!

  • Me too man. :)

  • respect mate

  • smashing pumpkins fucking rule, u have to buy siamese dream to understand

  • Badass!

    I love this song!

    :)

  • "I nearly, I nearly lost you there,

    And it's taken us somewhere,

    I nearly lost you there,

    Let's try to sleep now"

the way that mark sings the chorus is so fucking amazing ,incredible singer. cheers to you mark!!!!!

  • yeah Mark's a great singer. He was awesome with Queens of the Stone Age too, I'm a huge QOTSA fan anyway!!

  • this band had a great sound!!

  • Um...Mudhoney.

Pearl Jam is not the only grunge band still around.

  • this is the first time ive ever heard this song or heard of this band, and im going to have to buy a cd now because this is the SHIT!!!!!!!!

  • The drummer reminds me of Buddy Reperton...lol

  • okay scratch that smashing pumkins was around with grunge but they werent grunge. i like them tho.

  • I've listened to this song like every day of the week

  • Excellent song

  • Of the bands SCHENTH named, I like all of them but: Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, and Pearl Jam. Other than those , Dude, your so right.

  • y not alice in chains????? ok smashing pumpkins is an exception cuz theyr just ok but pearl jam and alice in chains??????? y dont u like them?! lol

  • He looks a lot like Robbie Van Zant, the lead singer i mean.

  • SCREAMING TREES, NIRVANA, ALICE IN CHAINS, SMASHING PUMPKINS, PEARL JAM, BABES IN TOYLAND, MUDHONEY, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, TAD, L7, SOUNDGARDEN AND OTHER FUCKING AMAZING GRUNGE BANDS OF 90's.

GRUNGE LIVES ! SEATTLE FOREVER !!!

  • smashin pumkins wasnt grunge.. not really.. they wer more alternative or at least after the grunge movement ended but they werent grunge.

  • If you saw the parents you would understand the power of genetics! The talent of mark and the boys is not in question. jtwhip

  • They don't make 'em like they used to. I sound like my dad, but it's true.

We are about due another music revolution. We need one. Rock'n'roll, punk, grunge... we need the next full turn to come around and shake up fat, complacent music industry.

  • Check out his new band The Gutter Twins, with the front-man from The Afghan Whigs: Greg Duili. They both rocked out on some of The Twilight Singers CDs also... The NEW G.T. CDs IS SO KILLER!!!

  • that's what I'm working now man wish me luck!

  • This is in the dictionary next to "perfect rock and roll song."

  • For those of u who remember the great ol 90's! Yeah! This song is classic 90's. Aint nothing like it..

  • when i hear the song i remember this wonderful time!!!!!!!!!!! 90s`forever!!!!1

  • The Screaming Trees--a perfect blend of all of the great elements found in rock n' roll.

  • Too right my friend. The Trees rule.

  • I Love this band! A great influence on my owm band. If you have a little time, click on my (looseground) channel and check my band out. We're are starting and need opinions and suggestions. I believe we have a little bit of this 90's spirit. Thanks in advance.

  • i think its funny how the fat guy is literally rolling on the dirt

  • call him by his name. dont call him fat guy

  • ive seen singles and it took me back to 92

  • ライフルを構えて動く様が、赤子をだいてあやすような感じですね。

  • is that so?

  • was this song in the movie singles? they were putting up a singles poster around 0:36

  • i think so

  • well if tha song would? was in the movie tahn yes i think it was

  • i just found the sound track and it in there

  • its funny in the movie its just in the back ground on the radio towards the end of the movie. i was hoping it would be more important

  • my personal fav screaming trees song

  • Comments are made about Mark's grip on the microphone and his lack of movement. I think it's great. It's in total counterpoint to the Conner brothers' and drummer's dramatic movements. Mark's voice doesn't need any back-up. If he where girating around, I think it would be distacting.

  • I nearly lost you there....

  • Lost who? Me?

  • that's the song's chorus..."I nearly...I nearly lost you there"

  • No really, whad'ya think I live in a cave somewhere? You were probably in 5th grade when this song came out.

  • Nah! u r wrong, darling...I was 21 years old when this song was in the top on MTV...I was in the University..5th grade, u make me laugh...Probably I'm older than you, baby!

  • Screaming Trees are so damn good!

  • Awesom-O.

  • The Screaming Trees are better than any of this bullshit that's going on in todays music. Kids my age don't know what their missing out on

  • I suppose KurdtReznor was taken....

  • It was

  • i second that

  • Excellent song, Excellent band. I wish they would do one last tour.

  • 3,809 :)

  • Ahh, for the 3,000 or so of us who know what good music should be.. minority usually rules when it comes to good taste in music I've noticed.

  • very underrated band mtv and radio need to play more of this hell it would be nice if mtv played any music now its just TV minus the M

  • Shivering...when listening to this band! I listen to Screaming Trees for 13 years now and I never get bored listening and listening...and listening...and listening...again...and again...It is just the type of music that I like! Gary Lee, Van, Mark Pickerel, Mark, Barrett, thank you for your contribution to music and to my LP collection specifically..

  • This is one of most underrated bands from the Seattle area...Saturated market for alternative rock in the mid 90s..

  • One of the fav bands of Kurt Cobain.

  • So, what's screaming trees connection to queens of the stoneage? anybody?

I think it is Mark Lanegan

  • it is indeed mark lanegan. and josh from queens played with screaming trees occasionally.

  • Uhuh, Josh Homme was their touring guitarist I do believe.

  • mark lanegan have been for some time in QOTSA

  • The greatest rock band ever to hail from Ellensburg, Washington. Way too cool for MTV or radio, never given their due.

  • Well said.

  • screaming trees were cool. mark lanegan is jesus.

  • Hell yeah! This brings back some memories of being a teenager. Thanks for posting.

  • mark lanegan is the man
