lloool nice :) but duude unrealistic i mean wmkk is like 40 mins away why take SIA 777 take like SIA 737 or something. Posky has 767 series freeware . 777 just too long range lol where do you live changi?

PMDG hassn't got the 777 series so far that i know... but what i do know is that Wilco has got the 777 series what is like the same as PMDG. so....... do whatever you want with it. Great movie man. good job

Are u using DBS walk and follow? It can only be installed on FSX SP2... But SP2 doesn't support posky and most addons... how did you have them working?

Fairly easy but I don't like that if you want to go to another location (example if far away), you need to set camera location first and restart FSX.

It's not the best camera addon.

I see. Do you have posky 773s? DBS is a payware addon camera, it is the best addon camera for fsx so far....

Back to posky 773, the gauges will disappear when I download SP2.

You get it from avsim too, but under FS9. Same installation.

Only thing is the default FSX tower still exists. I don't know how to get rid of it yet.

Actually they do. I've played back that flight in FSRecorder many times in the VC view (exactly like lzd772's) and the controls animate fine :) Ah, so I was mistaken, I fly in real weather so the clouds are usually quite a bit lower at FL240. FS9 is very stable for me so I'll stick with it. Besides my PSS777 only worjs in FS9 :)

this was a good video, what was the SID u used...it looked like you took off on runway 20C....did u use the VJR8B departure? POSKY, while being a nice visual candy VC, has some definite problems with its settings...I personally feel it is way overpowered...i mean for a light flight like WSSS-WMKK, i can only use 50%N1 or else the thing gains speed like crazy and i can't maintain V2 to accel height.

Yes it's 1 of the reasons why I don't fly this bird, not saying 777 isn't one of my favourites. The only good thing is indeed the exterior model.

For this clip, it's made for video shooting purpose only so I did not do a proper flight and setup that I normally would on another plane.

did u set up the waypoints for the VJR8B departure in the FSX flightplan using the "Edit Waypoint" function? I find that helps me use my various freeware 777 models (POSKY and default FS9 imported into FSX) complete the SID with no trouble at all.

That should be the way, do it on preflight.

If not, configure it manually into the GPS, 1 by 1 I think.

Anyway, I do not really fly any other aircrafts anymore since I gotten the PMDG 747. It's got all that I need to simulate a real flight, though I do not like the idea of doing WSSS-WMKK with a 747 (or any other real SIA routes that are not using it) :( Just pretend it's a triple seven.

LOL...ya I do it all on preflight, get the SID and STAR in that way....i hate using GPS 1by 1 though in flight since the fs GPS has no capability for Direct-to without erasing teh whole route...=( i don't have PMDG, i have WILCO 777 which has its own set of problems--namely death by oversimplification. But since i know how the real 777 LNAV VNAV should function (thanks to a certain captain), i just tweak my freewares to function that way hehehe.

Nice work. I've actually recorded an entire flight from WSSS-WMKK and have been tempted to make a "Fast and furious" video as well, but my PC is just too slow to record with fraps :( Whats your cruise altitude? Looks like you were quite low (not more than FL180).

I haven't tried to record a whole flight. I do not like the replay feature, and I also read that some controls won't reflect when you replay on FSRecorder.

I was doing FL240. Maybe the clouds made it looked low. I set the clouds up to FL240 to do little bit of clouds surfing otherwise it's really boring :)

You need to upgrade your PC and get FSX next time, I'm sure you can make great videos.
