He is described as being seven feet tall in the books, and with the armor, he'd be even taller.

actually no they say he weighs 300 without and 1000 with armor and he is 6 feet without and he his 7 feet with armor i check i am a halo dork i know

The Chief is 6ft 10 out of armor, 7ft 2 in it. I dont know where you got 6ft from? And I'm not sure about this but I believe he is 500 lbs out of armor, 1000lbs in. Think about it, if lou Ferrigno(an old school bodybuilder) was 6ft 5 and 265 lbs, then 300 lbs doesn't make much sense for the Chief, especially with his super dense muscles and bones.
