IT S MORROCO THE FIRST IMAGE IN THE TAMASLOUHT VILAGE 16 KM FROM MARRAKECH.AND THE LASTS IMAGE THAT IN JAMAA LAFNA SQUARE IN MARRAKECH WHRE EVERY DAY THERE ARE GROUPS MUSICAL AND ACTORS AND SO ON.THE INSTRIMENT PLAYING IS CALLED GUMBRI (GNAWA MUSIC).I WAS THERE BETWEN PEOPLE IT S WAS VRY NICE TIME.
Thanks to the uploader. But it seems like you're misleading people on purpose. There is no Egyptian Ensemble or British Orchestra in the music I'm listening to.
Robert and Jimmy are so in tune with each other on such a spiritual level and have been ever since they met many moons ago and i sometimes wonder if they came from the same butterfly
It was Actualy In Morocco Espcialy In marakesh City Of Gnawa And Jimy Page and Robert Plan Visit Marakesh always Like Jily Hendrix and The Moroccan guyz are Playing With Hajhouj"like The Guitar with four Strings" and Tam tam Like Drums With Two wase and Bendir Like a round Cercle :)
Absolutly love this, The No Quarter Album was one of the best things they ever did. Just wish theyd do it again so i can go see them!! Robert Plant is doing some fantastic solo work but nothing compares to the chemistry of he and Jimmy. :)
Jimmy featured this on his website on "this day". This is a partial quote from Jimmy:
"The sedate Gnawa were uncomfortable around the Berber tribeswomen's fierce music - it felt like the women could have eaten the Gnawa alive. It was a bit like mixing oil and water in a musical sense, definitely something that all of us would be unlikely to experience again."
FINALLY AN AMAZING AUDIO/VIDEO VERSION....... thank you so fukin much for this video..... i am a huge led zep fan ( jimmy page's in particular )..... This morroco performance was something out of this world. thank you once again uploader
@spiritofpeace Robert always was in real sound and we can all learn from him, i mean that we should go away from empty POP culture, we i mean people who dont worry about plastic and celebritis, i play myself so i dont belive in this slaves of pop buissnes with plastick lips and bubs.
This ensemble (Page & Plant et al) works really well together. What is the story behind this? It almost feels like Michael Palin should wander on to the scene at some point.
@HammerInMyOnionHead Why are there no comments, Hammer? An extremely bad version of the same gig has been on yt for a long time, not bad sound quality-but no sound to speak of! I`d think people should flock to this vid as well as to the other ones, it was you who uploaded City don`t Cry, Nobody`s Fault.. etc as well, wasn`t it?
OK-these other clips have the same thumbnails! Can you change yours?
Anyway, thanks again, I`m off to spy on your channel now *smile*
