Why put the main reactor in a hanger? I mean it was almost as though they wanted the thing to blow up, that is the kind of thing you want behind seventeen feet of steel and a couple of forcefeilds. As ever bad guy space ship design is rather lacking by which I mean get a new way of last minute victories. Death star one, Death star two, droid control ship... the only movies without an immportant ship blowing up are the ones where the bad guys win.

@returnofthekingxd Kenobi wasn't a master at that time. There is though a link between I and IV. The master dies and the apprentice kills the murderer. Qui-Gon dies -> Kenobi kills maul. Kenobi dies -> Luke 'kills' Vader

@Pidgithebird Yes, because Anakin became Obi-Wan's padawan. Before the extermination of the Jedi, it was tradition for Padawans to cut their hair and have a small braid to the side. When the Padawan became a Jedi Knight, their braid was severed off with a lightsaber. In a way it was to show their knighting of a new Jedi.

@Tabuu360Xx He took Maul by surprise. Maul thought he had Obi-wan beaten, as he ad kicked his lightsaber into the big hole and pushed Ob-wan into it, so he wasn't expecting Obi-wan to take Qui-Gon's lightsaber and cut him in half.
