wonderful video. As I see more "actors" more interested in fame..and they either are so limited in talent I am more drawn to the older performers. Ms. Moorehead was one who stood out..her diction alone was distinct..she was so much more than Endora. Perhaps not glamorous but certainly not ugly...she was the one Oscars forgot..what a shame. Hats off the Lavender Lady..and a Christian devout...will see her later on. :)
I have always loved Agnes Moorehead. She was elegant and lovely and able to expose places within that most actors never even dared to look. The music is wonderful and thank you for this wonderful tribute to an amazing actress!
Well I have always LOVED Aggie and thought she was an awesome actress. After watching this that is apparently an understatement. I mean this is coming from someone who didn't think any other actress compared to Bette Davis. WOW!!! I got chills watching her perform!!!
Thank you so much for this wonderful tribute ! Agnes Moorehead is one of my favorite actresses too and I love to see that people not only remember her wonderful talent for having been Endora in Bewitched - a highly delightful character ! - but also for the dramatic part of her so rich and multifaced career. You truly did a very beautiful depiction of this diversity, many thanks again for sharing this so obvious work of love ^_^
I thought this was awesome!!! I've enjoyed this sooo much! I was wondering what music did you use? The classical part...you know what i mean? And what movie was Agnes in on 1:18?
@1960galBSAM Hey 1960gal. Thank you so much. :-) The music is composed by Ennio Morricone--I believe it's called "Malena's Theme" and it is from the soundtrack to the film "Malena"...Hope that helps.....There are several versions.
The movie at 1:18 is "Jeanne Eagels" and I had this film uploaded to the Aggiephile channel, but Youtube closed that channel just the other day. Siiiiiiiggggh. :-(
One of my all time favorite actress... and sadly and underrated one... Divina Agnes. Thanks Erika. I must confess I also got a little bit teary after watching this well deserved homage...
Erika, it is so beautiful, I feel touched by viewing it. It's got kind of a haunting tribute feel to it, like the kind they do at the Oscars. I am so glad u added more Aspasia, the lady in white and Jeanne Eagles clips. The Tzone ones are really awe
inspiring too and a little bit of comedy for us
with Agnes flirting. Always nice to see velma.
As a radio fan, I love the small touches of suspense as well. perfect song choice.
Wow....That was stunning! The music was so beautiful and it really brought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much for sharing this marvelous creation of yours :))
@ptourist Oh, PT, don't you know I was wanting to make it longer? ;)....I couldn't think of a song that could extend beyond the one I chose. ha ha Thanks for the compliment. :)
