  • my all time favorite from boc

  • Best of the later BoC efforts this, what's not to like. Exhale...

  • it reminds me of exploring the unexplored and me drinkin some fruity drinks with my only loved one.i think everybody that listens to this is isnt perfect.knows theyre somewhat bad inside just like me..thinks of life and death.how is death and were will i go next...

  • It would be hard for me to name my favourite song, but if i HAD to name one...

  • REMINDS Me Of DEATH - Afterlife - the part of LIFE after living.

    1:30 ... Eerie sounding.

  • The best love making music ever

  • A daydream away from reality...

  • @hapiegirl

It sounds like industrial life of those living in the 60's

... after their death. , is what they hear.

  • My life just flashed before my eyes.

  • 14 people had a bad childhood.

  • In my opinion, true art inspires art. BOC gets my creative juices flowin' & I can't stop my mind from evolving... Great to work by - Pure fuel for the imagination!!!

  • I've always felt a connection with others who listen to this kind of music. Because music like this is so rare to come by, as are those who listen to it. We REALLY appreciate music. This is REAL music. I don't think music needs words. When a song can convey an exact story, no matter what that story may be, THAT is what music is. That's what it should be. Each and every person can make up their own story to it. That is so beautiful to me.

  • @Charrlaa i really agree with you...and most people who do listen to this music, who listen for the right reasons see life in a different way...see life simply, but make it complex, taking beauty of simplicity..like with this song..some people might listen and say this is too simple i'm going to get bored listening to it,..but when i listen to it i hear so much....nice to know that there are still some people out there like you

  • @Charrlaa true brother. lets be best friends

  • i cannot comprehend how anyone is capable of saying anything negative about anyone or anything while listening to BoC. i love everything and everyone right now. all i feel is sheer bliss tingling every single one of my cells. i could cry and it would be the best thing that ever happened to me. who cares where you were born we're all here to enjoy beautiful music i'd like to think at least here we could have some peace ~(O.o)~

  • Oh wheeee they've got Canada in their artist name!!!!!!!!!! Now all Canadians have every right to it!

    ....No....

  • The real artist name of BoC is Hell Interface.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl nope, hell interface is their side project

  • @ECST4C Lol it was not a project you dim-witted Swedish cunt. It was just another artistic name or "alias".

  • @Peppepoppldoppl hey they make good berry candies ...!! i respect them for thier swedish berries maynards candies :D

  • @Killuminati1blood Maynards is British you imbecile.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl ok so thier not called swedish berries anymore theyre british berries lol

  • "Growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional."

  • this reminds me of a time when things were so much simpler. when I could go outside and roam around, thinking it was such a wide open place. Damn I miss childhood! Growing up is such a drag... :)

    Long Live BOC

  • So say we all...

  • Pure brainmade opiate.

  • BOC rule forever, anyone got any news on new material?

  • This makes me cry and I don't know why.

  • :D put yur headphones up to ur cheeks, free amplifier!! :DD

  • I have a deep passion for D&B, Electro, Hardstyle, Dubstep; you name it. If it's got a good, fast beat and wicked bass I'm into it. I love music that makes me want to dance and shuffle like an idiot in public.

    And this shit...

    Is sublime.

  • @fraglsnitz couldn't have said it better myself.

  • music for the senses

  • my favorite boards track...nothing but good...nostalgia heaven...

  • super

  • Divine

  • This is music that matters

  • when i hear this music i'm really relaxx

  • Wow, this is really great. Most of the stuff I've heard from BoC has been kind of boring imo, like it was missing something to make it really great. But I love this one, and perhaps I've just been unlucky and heard some of their less good tracks in the past. If they have more of this quality I can definitely understand why so many people might consider them among the best.

  • This song is truly a work of art. The simple melody is the closest to perfect I've ever heard, but it gets better and better as it ramps up with the xylophone, subtle speech samples, and drums. Chills down my spine.

  • macklemore should rap over this

  • Doing drugs is lame.

  • Oh niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

  • Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Listened to this while sitting in a stuffy little van going thru vast hills in Laos.

    Amazing.

  • I don't know at what point love should be filtered in my headphones, cos it doesen't.

  • Sad pounding. One song like the next.

  • i think i wanna be a peacock for Halloween...

  • All I hear is beauty.

  • "Our music is born from a strange union of the air of childhood and more troubled feelings, representing a more terrible reality which blends paradoxically with our childhood dreams." - Board of Canada interview

  • its amazing what humanity is capable of

  • @minimalist34 I totally agree.

  • @minimalist34 how is this amazing that people can take a pattern and use it to make a song?every pattern has a patter that has a pattern in a song.easy i do it all the time, just as a pasttime tho

  • @Killuminati1blood really???... if its so simple i challenge you to make a piece of music this profound and send it to me, i will honestly tell you if its amazing because i love music and theres very few, maybe a handful of artist that can create soundscapes as well as BOC

  • @minimalist34 lol realy,kk wen i have spare time ill make one but ill have to put a tag on it so u cant copy it :)

  • why

  • I had a fantastic video idea for this.

The beginning is all peaceful and stuff right?-

it would start off displaying the beauty of dolphins and tthier habitats and such

Then as the track moves on to the end(When the Vocals start)-

Pictures and videos of Dolphin hunters(W.e u call em) catching, abusing, killing dolphins would be displayed until the end.

I feel like whoever would watch that video would have a new found love for dolphins AND Boards of Canada

  • @Biggestmutemathfan What's a dolphin?

  • @RadicalOfTheSort A beautiful sea mammal

  • @Biggestmutemathfan That is one of the worst ideas I've heard all year. If you want to do something like that, make your own music and set it to it. If you incorporated images of dolphins being murdered into my favourite BoC track of all time, I would hunt YOU down. Think a little more before you direct your self-righteousness in retarded directions.

  • @phreaf You dont understand where im coming from, sort of weird to read through text. it wouldnt be about killing them but saving them. Id hope for people to realize that what is being done to them is horrific and should be stopped. Sorry if you feel that way about it.

  • @phreaf HAHA, who is the self-righteous one here??? Geez man, wouldn't want to cause you any discomfort by waking you up to a reality because this is YOUR favorite BoC track... Ha...

  • @jollincones I'm already awake to "this reality", I just don't need it invading one of THE FEW places that give me and so many others temporary refuge from all in the world that man has created that is cruel and cold and shit by taking us to a place that man has created that is love and warmth and beauty. I'm not phased if you don't understand that bro, but it would mean you're missing the point and depth of this music which would be a pity. Disagree? Such is life.

  • @phreaf Fair enough, I just couldn't ignore the "self-righteous" remark. I do understand your point though. Life has enough bummers, no reason to let em bugger up the serenity that is BoC. Pip pip, cheerio. (isn't youtube weird?)

  • @Biggestmutemathfan So do it. You have the inspiration, now take action. I wanna see your idea too :)

  • @Biggestmutemathfan I get it bro and the intention's solid - I'm all for dolphins not being slaughtered. My point was just not to Boards of Canada tracks - that's sacred ground and shouldn't be bloodied for any reason. Would you like to be in the middle of the most blissful meditative state in the world this music creates, and then have the guy from Sea Shepherd come and show you his album of whales bleeding out on Japanese ships? I'm sorry I was a little harsh with the initial comment. Peace

  • @phreaf I really thought about this and agreed. BoC is something everyone can and should get their own feel out of.

Tonight i was walking home; the stars were really vibrant and i realized how small i was compared to everything, and i went into deep thought about it. - Chromakey Dreamcoat. Beautiful progression.

  • This song sounds like my childhood. It's like crisp fall days and crayola crayons.

  • @DarqueMyth American shut up

  • boards of canada would be ashamed!!! fuck u younger generation trying to get it right? this band will always be in a class of their own.............

  • Uh, not all dubsteppers are bad. I'm one of them, and I realize this is way different from dubstep. I love dubstep, but I love this as well.

  • @oaknairb booooooo

  • This is music, nothing else matters ...

  • I'm not bored of Canada. I still love hockey!

  • why does it matter what kind of music everyone favors? This is obviously exquisite

  • @Magicspeed12

You sir, are a gloriously winged faggot troll.

Your Lady Gaga playlist is getting lonely.

  • THE MOAR!!!!! haha

  • Did anyone notice the moar you stare at the tail the moar it becomes vivid and full of colour?

  • @YouNolf

    yeah. It's really rather nice.

  • such a contrast between the two top comments. haha

  • i like how the notes go where you don't expect them to go

  • zzzzzzz

  • @ATobaccoChewingPig * corrected. I was using the passive, ken?

  • @carlomartu uggh it's not dubstep

  • even my office seems alright now...

  • I am usually a dubstep person, but that doesn't mean I can't listen to BoC.

  • @tinagetchel I know I'm gonna sound like a newb saying this, but what's "BoC"?

  • @moonodude17

    Boards of Canada, lol

  • @moonodude17 BoC stands for Blue Oyster Cult, obv.

  • @tinagetchel get out, dubsteppers doesnt belong here

  • @ECST4C

that was lame. this is for everyone, including dubsteppers who like this kinda music.

  • @ECST4C I`m a dubstepper and I love Boards of Canada, I`m from Muskoka Ontario, I have every rite to trip out to this shit

  • @canadore1 boards of canada arent actually from canada fyi. They are from scotland

  • @canadore1 BoC is not for Canadians or Americans. None of you have the right to "trip out" to it.

  • @ECST4C "dubsteppers" can go wherever the fuck they want and to say otherwise is to be a faggot.

I hate dubstep, and hate when this is called dubstep... But people can like what they want, right?

  • Amazing.

  • NBC would be so much cooler if they had this as their logo, and this song as their theme song.

  • i swear to god i keep thinking a peacock is a rainbow

  • All I want is for everyone in the entire world to listen to this.

  • @dcmushi

given, this isn't my particular "genre" of music, but I fail to hear the life-altering music you seem to get out of this marginally inspired, overly looped slice of "meh" that I'm hearing. I don't dislike it, but I find that I'm somewhat indifferent toward it. Could you possibly forward me to a piece of music in this genre that is sub-par in your opinion so that I might gain a bit of perspective? Not being cheeky, this is just how I digest new music. thanks.

    also, fuck you.

  • I'm being totally honest here. I was feeling a bit ill. Felt like puking, runny nose, all that jazz. Then, when I heard this I felt a lot better.

  • @ATobaccoChewingPig People need corrected, ken?

  • I just realized the picture in the video is the 1956 NBC logo. Interesting.

Amazing track as well, raises your conscious to another level.

  • @SysLocal try raising your spelling to a 3rd grade level, asshole.

  • @foilseal Are you sure you're replying to the right person or are you just trolling?

  • what's with all the "i'm mormon" videos up here with my favorite secular music?

  • Penis

  • Pee cocktail

  • @Hazel1312 You cheeky bastard. XD

  • @Hazel1312 Very creative man.

  • i wonder if this band is from canada ?

  • @whutps They're a scottish band,but wouldn't that be cool if they were ? !

  • @imextrasaltyx lol , i was being sarcastic . * gets put back in place*

  • @whutps uh yeah cuz you can really tell when someone is being sarcastic on you tube -_-

  • @imextrasaltyx I see what you did there xL

  • @whutps they are scottish

  • @111crackerjack i wonder why they chose the name then O.o , interesting :P

  • @whutps i think it has to do with the film boards of canada, i thought they sampled a lot of their footage for their videos

  • @111crackerjack cool :)

  • @111crackerjack @111crackerjack It's from the National Film Board of Canada. A lot of there sounds are sampled from old canadian educational videos. Anyone who grew up in Canada in the 70's / Early 80's immediately recognizes that sound. If you want to hear what I mean look up TVO (TV Ontario).

My childhood lives in "Music has the Right to Children" Best Album ever!

  • the best boc track ever...no doubt about it...amazing does not do them justice...get lost in the moment...get your float on..........

  • @Akhin When I listen to this music I almost don't care about how people act anymore. I just float in fantasy of beautifull things. people that annoy me are not in it ;)

  • @CopsAreFaggots so you too have ascended, it feels good doesn't it?

  • @aeckstrand003 Yes, very!

  • @Akhin So true, this isn't chill out or meditation music.

  • This song has that royksopp style and I love it.

  • @VVillowz Tit

  • @VVillowz Röyksopp has that BoC style, not the other way around.
