Well, the studio version is obviously more "pitch-perfect" than this live version. So you can see, the studio can really do magics.

However, I just prefer the live, un-edited version of songs to any of those "made in studio" products.

Basically , we all can identify with the girl singing very nicely, yet not perfectly. Her frailties are what make it appealing.

I like this song, but it kind of strange I think. I think that first the arrangement is very hard to sing. Also, I feel that she is supposed to sing in a way that is purposefully NOT perfect, with off key and voice breaking. This matches the insecurity and not fully developed state of the teen girl of the story. The singing of the girl with the violin boys friends was definitely sweet, yet off key at times
