Best cover for this song I've heard. Seether didn't even get the music right. Yeah maybe the vocals sound closer to Kurt's in the cover Seether did, but Ben Burnley is actually on key more and do is his band's music. Breaking Benjamin will always be the best alternative/metal post grunge band out there.

Everyone just shut the fuck up, the point of a cover is not to sound just like the original band but rather to twist it around and play it in your own style. Seether's way of playing plus Shaun's closer-to-Kurt voice just make it seem like it's "better" but Ben sings fairly well for this cover as well. In turn it's all opinion, but the bands are both in "post-grunge" and good friends so beating on one of them is kind of pointless.

ok to clear up the comments on Ben sounding or not sounding like Kurt there are major differences between the 2 one of those being that Ben is canadian and Kurt was from Washington much like the singer from Seether is from South Africa and not from the states....of course Nirvana is better it's there song but at least they did it justice in some way and Ben has said he was a child of Nirvana and was heavily influenced by them.

Great cover by breaking benjamin. I'm a 38 year old die hard Nirvana fan since the early days and this is a very good cover no doubt. No reason to lie and say it isn't. Kurt influenced many of todays grunge/alternative musicians and we can all thank him and appreciate that. We will always miss Kurt but he was a very unhappy soul due to Courtney... who he really wanted away from so he could gather himself and step down from music. But he never got that chance. She killed him either way..

Personally I think bands that do covers who stick to the original is a good thing. You know all the original bands spend a long time figuring out how to make the song the best it could be. Covering it and changing shit up ends up ruining the song in most cases.

Sure there's a few exceptions, but there's no reason to bash bands sticking to the way the song was meant to be played. If it aint' broke, don't fix it!
