No, you're not tone deaf. The guitar wasn't very loud in the mix. The main point of this session was to get the drums recorded for all the songs. The rest of the guitars, bass and vocals for this particualr tune will be recorded in mid January.

Not exactly! It originally started out as an homage to Dimebag. Then it eveloved into something with a more positive subject matter than somebody being murdered on stage. (that was the LAST thing I wanted to write about).
